Building egress lighting apparatus method and system with direction designator projection features
One or more reduced, same form, light emitting apparatus(es) spaced apart and configured to be mounted at various heights and/or spacing employ the same power consuming light source input that is covered by a symmetrical or asymmetrical redirecting linear lens optics apparatus that is configured for use in a range of mounting heights to uniformly illuminate at least one legal path of egress below. An exemplary light apparatus is a horizontally rotatable device configured to project an illuminated directional building evacuation symbol/text/image onto an illuminated egress path below.
Generating a lighting system analysis
Devices, systems, and methods for generating a lighting system analysis are described herein. In some examples, one or more embodiments include a computing device comprising a memory and a processor to execute instructions stored in the memory to connect to a lighting device of an emergency lighting system of a facility, retrieve lighting information about the lighting device, and generate a lighting system analysis for the lighting device based on the retrieved lighting information.
Redundant lighting driver system
A redundant lighting driver system includes a primary driver and a backup driver. The primary driver and the backup driver are electrically coupled to receive an alternating current (AC) power from a power source. The primary driver or the backup driver power a light source at a time. The primary driver is configured to provide a primary power to the light source, and the backup driver is configured to provide a backup power to the light source when the primary power is unavailable. The backup driver is designed to withstand a larger power surge than the primary driver.
Resilient and portable lightbulb
Various embodiments of a method and apparatus for providing light that is resilient to power outages are disclosed. The apparatus is a device that includes a primary light source, which includes an AC-to-DC converter that converts the AC power from a light socket to DC power. The device includes a secondary power source, as a backup, having an internal or external battery and a light source electrically connected in parallel. In some embodiments, the light source resides on a flexible, printed circuit board. In some embodiments, the device includes a sensor that senses the loss of AC power. In some embodiments, in response to the sensor sensing the loss of AC power, the light shuts off or fades out after a predetermined time period. In some embodiments, the user can stop the light from turning off or fading out by pressing a button.
System of lights for automatic compliance with regulatory standards assurance
A lighting system for an emergency vehicle, the lighting system including one or more light sources, and a processor, where the processor is configured to receive one or more compliance data from each light source of the one or more light sources, receive one or more location data from each light source of the one or more light sources, compare the compliance data and the location data with a compliance standard, determine a compliance minimum and a compliance maximum for one or more characteristics for each light source of the one or more light source, and adjust the one or more characteristics of each light source of the plurality of light sources based on one or more user commands, wherein each light source of the plurality of light sources operates at or above the compliance minimum and at or below the compliance maximum for each light source.
EMERGENCY DETECTION CIRCUIT AND APPARATUS COMPATIBLE WITH TRIAC DIMMER
The present invention provides an emergency detection circuit and apparatus compatible with a triac dimmer. In the emergency detection circuit, a boost module, a grid status detection and control module, a boost freewheeling circuit connected to an AC neutral line, an emergency battery, an emergency light module, a rectifier circuit, and a triac dimmer connected to an AC live line are electrically connected. When detecting an abnormal AC voltage, the grid status detection and control module controls the boost module to provide a boost voltage in an intermittent periodic manner to ensure normal operation of a triac switch and conduction of the boost freewheeling circuit. The grid status detection and control module samples a voltage signal via the boost voltage sampling terminal and determines, based on a sampled voltage, whether to control the emergency light module to enter an emergency lighting mode. This achieves a technical solution for controlling an emergency light compatible with a triac dimmer.
PROGRAMMABLE LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH ADAPTIVE SPECTRUM CONTROL FOR OPTIMIZED PLANT GROWTH
An apparatus for plant growth illumination may include light emitting diodes (LEDs) configured to emit light in a spectrum between 300 nm and 800 nm. Lenses may be individually associated with respective ones of the LEDs, and each lens may be adjustable relative to its associated LED to modify a focus of the emitted light. A cooling system may be integrated with the plurality of LEDs. The apparatus may be configured to maintain an operating temperature of the LEDs at a predetermined value. A control system may adjust a distance between each optical lens and its associated LED based on sensor input indicating a distance from the LED to a plant canopy. The control system may adjust emitted light intensity and footprint by moving the optical lens closer to or further from its associated LED.
Emergency lighting system
An emergency lighting fixture is provided. The emergency lighting fixture includes a backup power supply. The backup power supply includes one or more batteries. The emergency lighting fixture includes one or more light sources. The emergency lighting fixture includes a transceiver. The emergency lighting fixture includes a controller configured to determine a status of the backup power supply. The controller is further configured to transmit a beacon signal via the transceiver. The beacon signal can include the status of the backup power supply.
Autonomous unit for emergency lighting system for aircraft, eVTOLs, VTOLs and rotorcraft
A light unit executes up to three different functions (cabin area illumination, individual/dedicated/decorative illumination and emergency illumination) and an emergency illuminated sign unit, each one with an internal controller and a rechargeable capacitor. An example non-limiting embodiment also provides a cabin light system and an emergency lighting system, where each illumination unit (light source or illuminated sign) is as described above.
