METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR AN ADAPTABLE VEHICLE LIGHT FIXTURE
A method and apparatus for an adaptable vehicle light fixture is provided to activate varying light distribution patterns based upon preconfigured operation of trigger and/or power wires. One or more trigger and/or power wires connected to one or more vehicle light fixtures are preconfigured through wired and/or wireless programming to generate specified light distribution patterns that are responsive to the preconfigurations during manual operation. Wireless preconfiguration includes the use of a handheld magnetic device or smartphone. Wired preconfiguration includes the use of a vehicle-based controller area network (CAN) bus. Any preconfigured operation may be changed at any time by the user by programmably changing the preconfiguration.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO MANAGE THEMES IN LIGHTING MODULES
A lighting system includes control adapters and a lighting controller that sends commands and data over an AC power line to power and control the lamps associated with the control adapters. Lighting themes are uniquely programmable color and intensity that are applied to a collection of control adapters to achieve different lighting modes instantly, without the delay that programming each control adapter individually incurs. The plurality of control adapters receive theme lighting information over the power line and store the theme information in memory. The lighting controller sends a single command to the collections of the control adapter groups to apply the theme or a multiple of themes to run in sequence as a pattern. Each control adapter retrieves and applies the theme information associated with the pattern.

Combined lighting device with an integrated dimming control system
A lighting system that includes a lighting device and a dimming controller. The lighting device has a support structure that supports multiple lighting zones. Each lighting zone including one or more lighting sources. The dimming controller is in communication with multiple dimmers supported by the lighting device. Each of the lighting sources is coupled to a corresponding dimmer from the multiple dimmers. The dimming controller is configured to communicate a controlled setting for one or more of the lighting zones to the multiple dimmers. Other embodiments may be described and/or claimed.
