Signaling lamp monitor
A signaling lamp monitor is configured to add a communication function to a signaling lamp such as a stack signaling lamp easily and at a low cost. The signaling lamp monitor includes a detector that detects light emitted from the signaling lamp, a controller that generates a detection signal at least based on the detection, and a transmitter that transmits the detection signal by wireless communication. The transmitter is provided with an antenna disposed above the detector.
DATA ACQUISITION METHODS AND APPARATUS FOR A NETWORK CONNECTED LED DRIVER
A lighting system including monitoring of input power and output power parameters to a set of lighting loads to detect power faults and/or anomalies. The set of sensing circuits include primary side and secondary side sensing circuits that communicate with a set of monitoring circuits to process the information supplied by the sensing circuits. If a fault and/or anomaly is sensed or detected, a signal is transmitted to provide an alert.
PIXEL DIAGNOSTICS WITH A BYPASS MODE
A LED controller includes an image buffer to hold image data. An LED pixel forming a part of a large pixel array is activatable in response to image data, LDO state, and pulse width modulation module state. A logic module including a pixel diagnostic mode using an LDO bypass is connected to modify LDO state and allow direct addressing of the LED pixel for diagnostic purposes without needing to use image data from the image buffer.
CELESTIAL SCHEDULING OF A SMART STREETLIGHT CONTROLLER
A method to control a streetlight with a smart streetlight controller, includes isolating a terrestrial position of the smart streetlight controller, isolating a specific date, and calculating, at the smart streetlight controller, a time value associated with an event, such as sunrise or sunset, that is defined by a position of the sun on the specific date. The method further includes generating a streetlight control time by applying an offset to the time value, and executing a streetlight control command, such as a command to turn the streetlight on or off, at the streetlight control time.
Intelligent lighting control system zone identification apparatuses, systems, and methods
The present disclosure provides an intelligent lighting control system. A first switch control circuit of a first lighting control module of a plurality of lighting control modules is actuated. The actuation is detected at each lighting control module in the plurality of lighting control modules. The light sensor in each lighting control module are polled by the respective processor in each lighting control module, to detect a change in a light level. The change in the light level detected by the respective lighting control module is transmitting, from each lighting control module. The lighting control modules that detected the change in the light level are catalogued into a 1st zone of one or more zones.
Automated testing of emergency lights
The subject disclosure relates to power failure simulations, for example to test lighting systems, such as emergency lighting units or lighted signage. In some aspects, a method of the disclosed technology includes steps for receiving an interrupt command, terminating power delivery from a first power supply to a lighting array in response to the interrupt command, and measuring one or more power characteristics of the second power supply. Methods and machine-readable media are also provided.
Emergency lighting system with integrated testing and reporting functionality
An emergency lighting system provides testing and reporting functionality in a rapidly repeatable fashion for environments with numerous emergency lighting units. In one or more embodiments, the emergency lighting system comprises a plurality of emergency lighting units capable of conducting one or more tests and reporting their operating condition as test results. One or more terminals receive and aggregate the test results and present the same to a user. Emergency lighting units having an undesirable operating condition can then be readily identified and addressed.
Chained flashlight system
A chained flashlight system includes: plural flashlights; plural lighting control devices that control lighting of the plural flashlights, respectively; a communication wire; and a traffic control device. The plural lighting control devices include receiving units, controlling units, activating units, and power supply units, respectively and are coupled to the traffic control device by the communication wire. The traffic control device simultaneously sends an activating signal to the plural lighting control devices via the communication wire. The receiving units receive the activating signal. The controlling units activate the activating units based on a time from reception of the activating signal to activation of the activating units, set for the flashlights, respectively. When the power supply units are turned ON in an activated state of the activating units, respectively, the flashlights are lit by a lighting signal from the traffic control device, respectively.
Methods for Monitoring Status of a Light Fixture and Related Monitoring Modules and Computer Program Products
Methods for remotely monitoring a status of a light fixture including monitoring sensor data associated with the light fixture; analyzing the monitored sensor data to determine if the light fixture is operating outside expected parameters associated with the light fixture; and altering the status of the light fixture for a finite period of time if it is determined that the light fixture is operating outside expected parameters are provide. Related monitoring modules and computer program products are also provided.
