Monolithic x-ray source housing
A monolithic housing for an x-ray source can wrap at least partially around a power supply and an x-ray tube. The monolithic housing can include Al, Ca, Cu, Fe, Mg, Mn, Ni, Si, Sr, Zn, or combinations thereof. Mg can be a major component of the monolithic housing. The monolithic housing can be formed by injection molding. The monolithic housing can provide one or more of the following advantages: (a) light weight (for easier transport), (b) high electrical conductivity (to protect the user from electrical shock), (c) high thermal conductivity (to remove heat generated during use), (d) corrosion resistance, (e) high strength, and (f) high electromagnetic interference shielding (to shield power supply components from external noise, to shield other electronic components from power supply noise, or both).

X-RAY GENERATOR
An X-ray generator includes an X-ray tube, an X-ray tube accommodation portion, and a power source unit having an internal substrate supplying a voltage to the X-ray tube sealed inside an insulating block. A first space is defined by an upper surface of the insulating block and an inner surface of the X-ray tube accommodation portion. A second space is defined by a recess portion opening to the outside formed on a side surface of the insulating block and a sealing member sealing an opening of the recess portion. A communication hole causing the first space and the second space to communicate with each other is provided in the insulating block. Insulating oil is enclosed in the first space and the second space. A depth of the recess portion is smaller than a width of the recess portion.

X-RAY TUBE DEVICE
An X-ray tube device incorporates a mono-tank, and includes a gripping portion that is provided to protrude from a main body in a side surface and supports the main body by gripping. In a case where the main body is divided into two portions of a center-of-gravity-side portion including the center of gravity of the main body and a non-center-of-gravity-side portion not including the center of gravity using a plane passing through the center of the main body and an irradiation direction of X-rays, the gripping portion is in the center-of-gravity-side portion, and the gripping portion is not in the non-center-of-gravity-side portion.

An X-ray generator includes an X-ray tube configured to generate X-rays, an X-ray tube accommodation portion which accommodates at least a part of the X-ray tube and enclosing insulating oil, a second accommodation portion surrounding the X-ray tube accommodation portion when viewed in a tube axis direction of the X-ray tube, a blower fan configured to circulate gas inside a surrounding space defined between the X-ray tube accommodation portion and the second accommodation portion, and an X-ray shielding portion made of a material having a higher X-ray shielding ability than the X-ray tube accommodation portion and the second accommodation portion, and provided on an inner surface of the second accommodation portion.
X-ray source with liquid cooled source coils
The electron beam is typically dynamically steered after its generation on the path to the target. The steering is performed by one or more source coils. These coils produce the magnetic field outside the vacuum vessel allowing air/water/oil cooling to remove undesired heat. The magnetic field is then picked up inside the vacuum vessel with pole pieces and guided towards the region where the magnetic field is needed to steer the electron beam.
