A rigid-flex printed circuit board (PCB) includes at least one rigid PCB including at least one electrical component, a flex circuit, and a built-in diagnostic circuit. The flex circuit includes at least one end connected to the at least one rigid PCD. The flex circuit includes at least one signal trace configured to deliver an electrical signal to the at least one electrical component. The built-in diagnostic circuit is configured to detect a fault in the rigid-flex PCB.
Leakage characterization for electronic circuit temperature monitoring
An electronic system can be used to monitor temperature. The electronic system can include a characterized dielectric located adjacent to a plurality of heat-producing electronic devices. The electronic system can also include a leakage measurement circuit that is electrically connected to the characterized dielectric. The leakage measurement circuit can be configured to measure current leakage through the characterized dielectric. The leakage measurement circuit can also be configured to convert a leakage current measurement into a corresponding output voltage. A response device, electrically connected to the leakage measurement circuit can be configured to, in response to the output voltage exceeding a voltage threshold corresponding to a known temperature, initiate a response action.

Immunity evaluation system and immunity evaluation method
Provided is an immunity evaluation system that enables design feedback in consideration of a subject wiring and an improvement amount for improving an electromagnetic noise resistance of a circuit board. An immunity evaluation device includes: a storage unit configured to store characteristic data including probe-circuit board wiring coupling characteristics which are determined by a combination of a near-field probe and circuit board characteristics, and a test result; and an IC reaching signal level estimation unit configured to estimate a signal level reaching a terminal of an evaluation target IC. The immunity evaluation device receives board design information, information of the near-field probe, and test waveform instruction information of a signal applied to the near-field probe. The IC reaching signal level estimation unit reads the coupling characteristics from the storage unit based on the board design information of a test subject circuit board and the information of the near-field probe, and outputs a value of the IC reaching signal level reaching a terminal of the evaluation target IC from the board design information of the test subject circuit board, the information of the near-field probe, and the coupling characteristics.

A display device is provided and includes a display panel including a display area that displays an image and a pad area disposed at least at a side of the display area, and a flexible circuit film electrically connected to the pad area. The flexible circuit film includes connection pads, a first measurement pad, and a second measurement pad. The connection pads are arrayed in a first direction and inclined with respect to a reference line extending in a second direction different from the first direction, the first measurement pad is disposed adjacent to a first side of the connection pads, and the second measurement pad is disposed adjacent to a second side of the connection pads. The connection pads are between the first measurement pad and the second measurement pad.

Disclosed are a display panel, a display device, and a terminal apparatus. The display panel comprises a display substrate having a backlight surface and a main flexible circuit board. The main flexible circuit board comprises a connection section, a fixed section and a test section. The connection section is arranged on the backlight surface, and has an outer peripheral surface comprising a first side and a second side opposite to each other. The fixed section is attached and fixed onto the backlight surface, and having one end connected to the first side and another end extending towards an end of the first side away from the second side. The test section has one end connected to the first side, and another end comprising a connection port.
Printed Circuits with Embedded Resistive Thermal Devices
An electronic device may include a printed circuit with a surface-mounted component. The component may produce resistive heating within the printed circuit. Resistive thermal devices (RTDs) may be embedded within the printed circuit. An RTD may at least partially overlap the electrical component. The RTD may include contact pads on a flexible substrate and a meandering conductive trace between the contact pads. The trace may have a resistance varying linearly as a function of temperature. A data acquisition system (DAQ) may measure the resistance of the RTD. Control circuitry may identify the temperature of the printed circuit based on the resistance of the RTD measured by the DAQ and may reduce power consumption by the component when the temperature exceeds a threshold. This may serve to prevent overheating in the printed circuit over time, thereby maximizing the operating life of the printed circuit.
