A chip part is provided that includes a substrate in which an element region and an electrode region are set, an insulating film (a first insulating film and a second insulating film) which is formed on the substrate and which selectively includes an internal concave/convex structure in the electrode region on a surface, a first connection electrode and a second connection electrode which include, at a bottom portion, an anchor portion entering the concave portion of the internal concave/convex structure and which include an external concave/convex structure on a surface on the opposite side and a circuit element which is disposed in the element region and which is electrically connected to the first connection electrode and the second connection electrode.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD STRUCTURE INCLUDING FUSIBLE GROUND PLANE
An example printed circuit board includes a ground plane having a fusible region and a power plane. The power plane is isolated from the ground plane by an insulating layer. At least one circuit component is mounted to the ground plane and is positioned within the fusible region of the printed circuit board.
Monitoring circuitry
In an example, monitoring circuitry includes a first and second coupling, at least one of which is to capacitively couple the monitoring circuitry to a monitored circuit on a product packaging. The monitored circuit has a resistance which is indicative of a status of a product stored in the product packaging, and the monitored circuit is to be connected in series between the first coupling and the second coupling. The monitoring apparatus may determine the resistance of the monitored circuit via the first and second couplings.
CIRCUIT BOARD AND BATTERY MODULE
The present disclosure provides a battery module comprising a circuit board, the circuit board comprises a conductive layer, a first pad and a second pad. The conductive layer is formed with a sampling circuit, the sampling circuit comprises: a sampling end portion; an outputting end portion; a first branch path formed with a first fusing zone; and a second branch path formed with a second fusing zone. The first pad is provided on the sampling end portion, the second pad is provided on the second branch path. When the first fusing zone is fused, the circuit board can be quickly repaired by means of the second branch path and the second pad to electrically connect the sampling end portion and the outputting end portion, thereby achieving the purpose of reusing the circuit board, therefore the entire battery module is not scrapped and the utilization of the battery module is improved.
PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD WITH INTEGRATED FUSING AND ARC SUPPRESSION
A circuit board with integrated fusing includes an insulating substrate having a circuit trace formed on a surface thereof, the circuit trace including a first circuit trace portion and a second circuit trace portion. A fusible link electrically connects the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion, the fusible link including a planar surface extending from the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion. A dielectric reflow encapsulates the fusible link on the planar surface from the first circuit trace portion to the second circuit trace portion.
Flexible printed circuit board
A flexible printed circuit board according to an aspect of the present invention includes a base film having insulating properties and a conductive pattern laminated to one surface side of the base film. The conductive pattern forms part of a circuit and includes at least one fuse portion having a cross section smaller than the other part. The flexible printed circuit board includes at least one opening passing through front and rear surfaces on at least one of the right and left sides of the fuse portion in a two-dimensional view.
Battery bridge and method for activating an electronic device
A battery bridge for an electronic device, preferably for an electronic implant, has an electrically conductive first contact element, an electrically conductive second contact element and an insulator. The first contact element and the second contact element comprise a weldable material. In a first state of the battery bridge, the first contact element is distanced from the second contact element via a predefined air gap and the first contact element is electrically insulated from the second contact element by the air gap and the insulator. The battery bridge is formed in such a way that it can be transferred, by welding the first contact element and the second contact element together, into a second state, in which the air gap between the first contact element and the second contact element is closed electrically conductively, at least in part. A method for activating such an electronic device is also disclosed.
LED LIGHTING SYSTEMS AND METHODS
Embodiments of the invention include LED lighting systems and methods. For example, in some embodiments, an LED lighting system is included. The LED lighting system can include a flexible layered circuit structure that can include a top thermally conductive layer, a middle electrically insulating layer, a bottom thermally conductive layer, and a plurality of light emitting diodes mounted on the top layer. The LED lighting system can further include a housing substrate and a mounting structure. The mounting structure can be configured to suspend the layered circuit structure above the housing substrate with an air gap disposed in between the bottom thermally conductive layer of the flexible layered circuit structure and the housing substrate. The distance between the layered circuit structure and the support layer can be at least about 0.5 mm. Other embodiments are also included herein.
MODIFIED PCB VIAS TO PREVENT BURN EVENTS
A fusible via is disclosed. The fusible via includes an upper contact. The fusible via further includes a handle portion having a first end and a second end. The upper contact is disposed on the first end of the handle portion. The handle portion comprises an alloy and a blowing agent. The alloy melts above a predefined solder reflow temperature but below a thermal degradation temperature of the blowing agent. The fusible via further includes a lower contact disposed on the second end of the handle portion.
