A receptacle connector includes a housing defining a base and a mating tongue forwardly extending therefrom, a first row of contacts disposed in the housing with contacting sections and surface mount type tail sections for mounting on a PCB, a second row of contacts disposed in the housing with contacting sections and through hole type tail sections for mounting in the PCB; a metallic shield including a capsular segment surrounding the mating tongue to define a mating cavity and a rear wall covering a rear face of the base to surrounding the surface mount type tail sections and a lower bracket attached to the metallic shielding. The lower bracket is located upon a bottom side of the shield and includes a bottom wall, two sidewalls and a rear wall commonly surrounding the through hole type tail sections.

Disclosed is an electronic card, in the form of a flexible smart card provided with a flexible circuit, that includes a bottom face receiving electronic components and a top face provided with contact tabs intended to be connected to conductive tracks of a garment textile. The flexible circuit being covered on its bottom face with at least one bottom layer of bonding adhesive, first polymer layers provided with cutouts for receiving components and second polymer layers for encapsulating the components, and covered on its top face with a top layer of bonding adhesive and at least one top layer forming an outer face of the card made from polymer material provided with cutouts for accessing the contact tabs, in which at least some of the contact tabs are produced on the rim of the card and provided with an end part on the edge of the card.

A power supply device includes a main unit and a power switching module. The main unit includes a primary circuit board, a transformer including a primary and a secondary coil, a primary-side circuit and a secondary-side circuit. The power switching module includes a separate PCB formed with at least two connection pads and two conductive tracks, and at least one power switching element disposed on the PCB and having two terminals respectively connected to the two connection pads through the two conductive tracks. The power switching module is in the form of a separate PCB that is electrically connected to the primary- or secondary-side circuits through the two connection pads.

An embedded magnetic component transformer device includes primary, secondary, and auxiliary windings that are defined by conductive vias connected by conductive traces. The conductive traces and vias of the auxiliary winding are arranged between the conductive traces and vias of respective first and second portions of the primary winding, so that the auxiliary winding is provided substantially in the center of the width of the PCB. Power connections are provided at respective opposing edges of the device, and surface mounted transistors are provided close to the primary winding portions between the auxiliary winding and the edge of the device. The device provides an efficient utilization of the surface conductive traces such that large areas of the surface remain for other functions, such as ground plates. The thermal properties of the device are balanced by distributing the transistors and the power connections.

Flexible printed circuit board and liquid crystal display

The disclosure is related to a flexible printed circuit board. The flexible printed circuit board comprises a connecting area and a plurality of gold fingers disposed inside the connecting area, wherein the distances of the gold fingers are different. The disclosure is further related to a liquid crystal display. By the above manner, the disclosure is able to change the distances between the adjacent gold fingers to increase the number of the gold fingers without changing the size of the flexible printed circuit board so as to solve the impedance matching problem of the gold fingers of the flexible printed circuit board, and in the meanwhile to increase the assembling yield rate of the flexible printed circuit board.

Method and arrangement for board-to-board interconnection

A wide bandwidth circuit board arrangement includes two coplanar substrates separated by a predetermined gap, and at least one bond wire arranged across the gap and interconnecting a respective conducting microstrip line on a first side of each respective substrate. Further, the arrangement includes at least one open stub arrangement configured on the first side of each respective substrate, each open stub arrangement comprising a microstrip extending at an angle from an end of each conducting strip on each respective substrate. Finally, the arrangement includes a ground layer on a second side of each respective substrate, and a defected ground structure arranged on the second side of each respective substrate and laterally overlapping each respective open stub arrangement arranged on the first side.

ASSEMBLY AND HARNESS ASSEMBLY

An assembly comprises a circuit board structure and a plurality of connection portions. The circuit board structure has a main circuit board and a supplemental circuit board. The main circuit board is formed with an accommodating portion. The accommodating portion is recessed downward in an up-down direction from an upper surface of the main circuit board. The main circuit board has a plurality of upper main conductive portions which are formed on the upper surface of the main circuit board. The supplemental circuit board has a plurality of upper supplemental conductive portions which are formed on an upper surface of the supplemental circuit board. The supplemental circuit board is, at least in part, accommodated in the accommodating portion. Each of ones of the connection portions connects a respective one of the upper main conductive portions and a respective one of the upper supplemental conductive portions with each other.

There are provided a printed circuit board including: an insulation layer in which a via hole is formed; vias formed in the via hole; first circuit patterns formed below the insulation layer and electrically connected to the vias; and second circuit patterns formed on the insulation layer to be bonded to the vias; wherein the via has a diameter smaller than that of the via hole, and a method of manufacturing a printed circuit board.

CONNECTION BODY AND HARNESS

A connection body comprises a body having upper and lower surfaces, a first path and a second path. The first path has a first wired portion configured to be connected to a first core wire of a cable structure and a first terminal portion coupled to the first wired portion by a first coupling portion. The first wired portion, the first terminal portion and the first coupling portion are formed on the upper surface of the body. The second path has a second wired portion configured to be connected to a second core wire of the cable structure and a second terminal portion coupled to the second wired portion by a second coupling portion. The second wired portion is formed on the upper surface of the body. The second terminal portion is formed on the lower surface of the body.
