A dual-bearing reel, includes a reel body, a handle, a spool, a spool shaft, a friction material an operating portion. The reel body has a first reel body portion and a second reel body portion. The handle is attached to the first reel body portion. The spool is disposed between the first reel body portion and the second reel body portion. The spool shaft is configured to integrally rotate with the spool. The friction material is configured to brake rotation of the spool shaft by frictional force. The operating member is rotatably disposed about the spool shaft in the second reel body portion, a portion of the operating member being exposed from an outer perimeter surface of the second reel body portion, and the operating member is configured to adjust the braking force by the first friction material by being rotated.

Provided is a fishing reel comprising a clutch mechanism that switches a spool around which a fishing line is wound between a power transmission state and a power interruption state, in which the clutch mechanism comprises a clutch lever, an actuating member configured to be rotationally displaced in accordance with a rotational operation of the clutch lever by a user, and a support case configured to support the clutch lever, the actuating member, and an actuating member receiving seat, the actuating member receiving seat interferes with the actuating member to stop rotation of the actuating member, and a rigidity of a material forming the actuating member receiving seat is lower than a rigidity of a material forming the support case.
Dual-bearing reel
A dual-bearing reel includes a reel body, a spool, a spool shaft, a one-way clutch, and an operating lever. The spool is rotatable relative to the reel body. The spool shaft is configured to integrally rotate with the spool. The one-way clutch comprises an outer ring that is rotatable relative to the reel body and a rolling body configured to transmit rotation of the spool shaft in the casting direction to the outer ring, the one-way clutch being attached to the spool shaft. The operating lever is attached to the reel body, extends in a radial direction, and is configured to adjust a braking force that brakes rotation of the outer ring.
Fishing reel
Provided is a fishing reel in which damage of a fishing line at the time of drawing out of the fishing line against a drag force can be prevented, and moreover a load on a level wind device can be reduced. Consequently it is possible to improve engagement and sensitivity of the fishing line, and operability of the fishing reel. More specifically, the fishing reel includes a level wind device causing a fishing line guide to reciprocate in a left-right direction to guide a fishing line to the spool, and a drag device imparting a drag force on the fishing line. The fishing line guide includes a narrow guide portion and a wide opening, the fishing line is situated in the narrow guide portion when the fishing line is wound around the spool, and situated in the wide opening when the fishing line is released from the spool.
