Closure latch assembly having an enclosure assembly for electronic controller to protect electronic components
An enclosure assembly for enclosing an electronic controller. The enclosure assembly comprises a housing having a plurality of cavities formed therein for receiving electrical components of the electrical controller. The enclosure assembly further includes an over-molded part formed from an elastic material that lines at least a portion of each cavity. The over-molded part reduces the effect of deceleration forces on the electrical component that is received in the cavity thereby protecting it from damage. The over-molded part includes a retention feature that locates the over-molded part within the cavity and secures it to the enclosure assembly. An interference fit is provided between the over-molded part and the electrical component received in the cavity.
WATERPROOF INTEGRATED CONTROLLER
Disclosed is an integrated controller that is waterproof and can be used in outdoor environments. The integrated controller has a housing which houses a separate controller assembly that is sealed to the housing to provide a waterproof container. Integrated plug blades that are molded into the housing assembly plug directly into a wall socket and U-connectors on a circuit board are used to connect the circuit board to an AC power supply. The system can be used to control the power signal from a wall socket to produce different lighting effects. Replacement circuit boards can be used to provide different lighting effects or to replace a faulty circuit board. Digital control signals can also be transmitted wirelessly to lighting displays, which may be commercial displays, ornamental displays or computer monitor displays.
Low stress electronic board retainers and assemblies
An electronics assembly can include a circuit board comprising a stress sensitive device and a stiffening member operatively connected to the circuit board to stiffen the circuit board. The assembly can include a housing disposed around the circuit board and the stiffening member to contain circuit board and the stiffening member. The assembly can include one or more elastic and/or flexible bumpers disposed between the circuit board and the housing to provide shock absorption to the circuit board within the housing.
Electronic control unit
There is disclosed a motor vehicle electronic control unit casing. The casing includes a housing (1) for electronic components, and a cover (15). The housing and cover (15) are inter-engageable. The housing (1) has a base (2), and an upstanding peripheral side wall (3) defining a peripheral edge (4) in spaced relation to the base (2) and which extends around an access opening of the housing. The cover (15) has a closure part (16) and is configured to close the access opening via engagement between the closure part (16) and the housing (1) around the peripheral edge (4). The cover (15) also has a mounting portion configured to be mounted to a mounting surface (27) in a motor vehicle. The mounting portion depends from the closure part (16) so as to extend substantially alongside the peripheral sidewall of the housing (1) when the housing and the cover (15) are inter-engaged to close the access opening, the mounting portion thereby being configured to secure the housing relative to the mounting surface (27) such that the peripheral edge (4) is spaced from the mounting surface (27).
Manufacturing method for electronic apparatus with case in which printed boards joined to each other are stored
A printed board joining method according to an embodiment includes preparing a printed board having, on an upper surface, a plurality of connection land portions provided along a side end, preparing a printed board having, on a lower surface, a plurality of connection land portions along a side end, and joining the printed board and the printed board together with a conductive joining material such that the upper surface is opposed to the lower surface and the plurality of connection land portions are electrically connected to the corresponding connection land portions. One or more cutout portions are provided between the plurality of connection land portions and/or between the plurality of connection land portions.
Passenger protection control device
A passenger protection control device for effectively preventing an infiltration of water into the interior of a case without the use of a sealant includes: a printed circuit board; a connector; and a case that accommodates such that, while a connection end surface with a wire harness of the connector is exposed, the printed circuit board is isolated from the outside. The case is formed by: a box shaped cover in which the periphery of a ceiling wall is enclosed by side walls and a floor surface is opened; and a rear cover that plugs the floor surface of the cover. The connector is installed in an opening provided in the side wall of the cover. The rear cover has a first standing wall projecting so as to face a connector in the portion of the cover in which the connector is installed. The first standing wall of the rear cover has a planar region in a head top part. The planar region has an inclined surface having a falling gradient facing outwardly from the cover.
ELECTRONIC UNIT
An electronic unit includes a first case made of metal; a second case made of metal; a frame made of synthetic resin arranged inside an assembly of the first case and the second case; a relay member made of metal that is separate from the frame and includes a first connection portion electrically connected to the first case, a second connection portion electrically connected to the second case, and a coupling portion coupling the first connection portion and the second connection portion; a first screw that passes through the first case and the first connection portion from the outside of the first case and is fixed to the frame; and a second screw that passes through the second case and the second connection portion from the outside of the second case and is fixed to the frame.
ELECTRONIC CONTROLLER
To make it possible to enhance waterproofness of a vent hole when an electronic controller is mounted on an automobile. The electronic controller includes a waterproof case that accommodates a printed circuit board with electronic parts mounted thereon, and a connector that electrically connects the printed circuit board and an external apparatus to each other, the electronic controller being mounted on the automobile in a posture having the connector directed downward. The waterproof case has an inclined surface that is smaller as the distance from a bottom surface is more on the connector side, and the inclined surface is formed with a vent hole that is closed with the breathing filter.
Vehicle control apparatus
A vehicle control apparatus is disposed inside a housing for accommodating a transmission. The vehicle control apparatus includes a metal base, a resin case, a printed circuit board on which an electronic component mounts, and an oil-tight seal member. The metal base is made of metal. The resin case is attached to the metal base to form an interior space. The printed circuit board is disposed in the interior space. The oil-tight seal member is disposed between the metal base and the resin case to surround the printed circuit board. The electronic component is included in a control circuit for the transmission. The metal base and the oil-tight seal member are at a hydrogen bonding state, and the rein case and the oil-tight seal member are at a covalent bonding state.
Cable with resin compact
A cable with a resin compact includes: a cable; a circuit board having one end on which a connecting portion connected to the cable is formed and the other end on which a sensor electrically connected to the cable through the connecting portion is formed; a holder housing the circuit board; and a cover member made of a resin partially covering the holder. The holder is partitioned by a first covered region surrounded by a first covering portion of the cover member, a second covered region surrounded by a second covering portion of the cover member, and a non-covered region not surrounded by the cover member. The first covered region, the non-covered region and the second covered region are aligned on a line in this order from a rear side toward a front side of the holder.
