SURGE PROTECTION DEVICE

A surge protection device has a housing that is formed from a first lateral portion, a middle portion, and a second lateral portion that are connected together with a plurality of fasteners. The surge protection device includes an electronic apparatus having a neutral wire and further includes a housing that advantageously includes a strain relief that causes the neutral wire to frictionally engage the housing with sufficient friction to resist a predetermined tension applied to the free end or other portion of the neutral wire at the exterior of the housing from damaging an electrical connection between the neutral wire and a circuit board within an interior region of the surge protection device.

An unit housing includes a first housing member, a second housing member, a circuit board disposed at least partially between the first housing member and the second housing member, a positioning column disposed at least partially in the circuit board, a first resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the first housing member, and a second resilient member connected to the positioning column between the circuit board and the second housing member.

Power converter

A power converter is provided to improve connection reliability of internal components of the power converter. The power converter may include a power semiconductor module that converts DC current into AC current, a casing that forms a housing space for housing the power semiconductor module, an AC relay bus bar that is connected to an AC terminal of the power semiconductor module by weld connection, and an AC terminal block that is connected to an AC terminal of a motor. The AC relay bus bar may be supported by the casing through an insulating member, and the AC terminal block may be connected to the AC relay bus bar and supported by the casing.

The metal terminal is arranged inside the receptacle and cooperates with a terminal of a cable. The miniaturized connector system includes an auxiliary portion of the main body arranged on an extension of the main body and defining an extension portion of the receptacle. The auxiliary portion is an integral part of a portion of the casing and has at least one seat receiving the printed circuit board and positioning the printed circuit board.

The case includes a case member 13 integrally formed with a wall surface and a male connector housing 13a. The wall surface forms a case internal space 21 that houses the mounting region 2. A female connector is mounted to the male connector housing 13a. The circuit board 1 penetrates the case member 13 such that the terminal forming region 3 is exposed to a housing space 22 side of the male connector housing 13a.

MULTI-PART FLEXIBLE ENCAPSULATION HOUSING FOR ELECTRONIC DEVICES

Encapsulated conformal electronic devices, encapsulated conformal integrated circuit (IC) systems, and methods of making and using encapsulated conformal electronic devices are presented herein. A conformal IC device is disclosed which includes a flexible substrate, electronic circuitry attached to the flexible substrate, and a flexible multi-part encapsulation housing encasing therein the electronic circuitry and flexible substrate. The multi-part housing includes first and second encapsulation housing components. The first encapsulation housing component has recessed regions for seating therein the electronic circuitry, while the second encapsulation housing component has recessed regions for seating therein the flexible substrate. First encapsulation housing component optionally includes a recessed region for seating therein the flexible substrate. Either housing component may include one or more projections that pass through holes in the substrate to engage complementary depressions in the other housing component to thereby align and interlock the encapsulation housing components with the flexible substrate and electronic circuitry.
