APPARATUS
An apparatus for obstructing the passage of debris and providing ventilation through a region between a first object and a second object, the apparatus comprising: a body; and a plurality of tines extending from the body, wherein the tines are arranged in use such that when the body is connected to the first object, the tines extend across the region and flex against the second object leaving channels between the tines in the region allowing for ventilation.
Configurable door panels
A configurable door panel cover includes a first face of a first door that is perforated and includes one or more attachment points, which one or more configurable panels may attach to. The configurable door panel cover includes a fastener assembly that includes at least one fastener that attaches to the configurable door panel cover, and a spacing mechanism. The spacing mechanism attaches to the fastener that is attached to the configurable door panel cover and to one of the one or more attachment points on the first face of the first door. The spacing mechanism attaches the first configurable door panel cover at a first orientation that includes a first angle between the configurable door panel cover and the first spacing mechanism. The fastener assembly may be rotated to the configurable door panel cover.
VENTILATION MEMBER AND INSPECTION METHOD
A ventilation member is attached to a through hole of a housing. The ventilation member includes: a support body in which a ventilation path that forms a flow path for gas between the interior and the exterior of the housing; a sealing member that seals between the support body and the housing; a ventilation membrane that is provided on the ventilation path to prevent a liquid and a solid from passing through and to allow gas to pass through; and a contacted portion that is provided to the support body and is formed with a uniform height to surround an end portion opening of the ventilation path. This makes it possible to easily close the ventilation path of the ventilation member.
Electronic component unit, wire harness, and ventilator waterproofing structure
A ventilator waterproofing structure applicable to an electronic component unit of a wire harness includes a projected columnar portion that is formed in a columnar shape and that is projected from a wall body of a casing in a first direction, a notch that is formed on the projected columnar portion in a straight line in a second direction, a step portion provided in the notch on a closed end side, and a closed space surrounded by an inner wall surface of the notch and a step surface of the step portion. A ventilation passage provided with a waterproof ventilation filter has an outside opening that is opened toward a closed space in a third direction in the notch.
VENT/DRAIN COVERS, VENTED/DRAINED ENCLOSURES, AND METHODS OF PROTECTING VENT/DRAIN FEATURES IN ELECTRONIC ASSEMBLIES
A vent/drain cover for an electronics enclosure includes a cover body defining an axis and a surface with a first wall protruding from the surface in a direction and a second wall protruding from the surface in the same direction but displaced radially from the first wall. The first wall has a first channel formed therein that is defined by a portion of the first wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the first wall. The second wall has a second channel defined by a portion of the second wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the second wall, the first channel being circumferentially offset from the second channel. Electronics enclosures and methods of venting electronics assemblies are also described.
Self-contained electronic display assembly, mounting structure and methods for the same
A display assembly includes a mounting structure with one or more cavities for electronic equipment located along a dedicated central airflow pathway for a first flow of ambient air. Each of a number of side assemblies are attached to a respective side of the mounting structure and include a front cover, a display layer located rearward of the front cover, an illumination device for illuminating the display layer when operated, and one or more dedicated side assembly airflow pathways.
COVER TO MAINTAIN ENCLOSURE PRESSURE AND HUMIDITY
A heads-up display includes an enclosure that includes electronics to operate the heads-up display and a visor attached to the enclosure. The heads-up display further includes a screen attached to the visor and the enclosure; and a cover assembly that is secured to the enclosure. The cover assembly includes a cap that seals the enclosure and includes at least opening; a hydrophobic membrane that prevents moisture from entering the enclosure through the at least one opening while permitting air to enter and exit the enclosure through the opening in the cap. An insert is secured to the cap and a valve is secured to the insert. The valve includes an inlet valve secured to the insert and an outlet valve secured to the insert such that the inlet valve allows air to flow into the enclosure and the outlet valve allows air to flow out of the enclosure.
Electronic Control Device
An electronic control device includes: a base member (4) that holds a board (2); a cover (5) that covers the board (2); a connector (3) that electrically connects the board (2) and the outside; a waterproof adhesive applied between any two of the base member (4), the cover (5), and the connector (3); and a liquid bypass (8) provided above a recess (60) that is a portion where the amount of protrusion of the waterproof adhesive to the outside is relatively small or above a waterproof adhesive located above a protrusion (44) of the waterproof adhesive protruding from the base member (4).
WATER BARRIER STRUCTURE FOR DISPLAY UNIT
A water barrier structure for display unit is arranged on one lateral side of a casing of a display unit. In the casing there are received an illuminating module and a display module of the display unit, the lateral side is provided with at least one air inlet and at least one air outlet. The water barrier structure includes at least one intake fan mounted in the at least one air inlet; at least one exhaust fan mounted in the at least one air outlet; and a plurality of water-stop caps used to cover the at least one air inlet and the at least one air outlet. With the specially structured intake fan, exhaust fan and water-stop caps, the water barrier structure can provide good water barrier effect while allows heat in the casing produced by the display unit to be effectively removed from the casing through air convection.
