The protruding portion 13 is a part having a tubular shape, the part being arranged to protrude from the supporting portion 12 and surround one end of the ventilation path 10, the part being configured to be in contact with the edge 2f when the ventilation component 1 is attached to the edge 2f. The ventilation component 1 satisfies a requirement 0.7≤D/W≤1.3.

The air exhaust port is configured in a sidewall of the housing and positioned between the top and bottom portions of the housing. The air duct is positioned proximate the air exhaust port. The air duct includes at least one wall defining an air entry port and an air exit port. The air exit port is aligned generally with the air exhaust port. The air entry port is positioned closer to the top portion of the housing than is the air exit port. The circuitry is positioned between the bottom portion of the housing and the air duct.

A vent/drain cover for an electronics enclosure includes a cover body defining an axis and a surface with a first wall protruding from the surface in a direction and a second wall protruding from the surface in the same direction but displaced radially from the first wall. The first wall has a first channel formed therein that is defined by a portion of the first wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the first wall. The second wall has a second channel defined by a portion of the second wall that does not extend as far from the surface as the balance of the second wall, the first channel being circumferentially offset from the second channel. Electronics enclosures and methods of venting electronics assemblies are also described.

The porous polytetrafluoroethylene membrane may be colored black or gray. The porous polytetrafluoroethylene membrane provided can have properties with a reduced coloring-induced deterioration.

A small cell access node includes a housing, a radio module, a power supply module, and one or more antennas coupled to the radio module. The housing includes a floor and at least one sidewall extending around a perimeter of the floor. An air intake section of the sidewall is located at a first lengthwise end of the floor and defines an air intake port. An air exhaust section of the sidewall is located at a second lengthwise end of the floor and defines an air exhaust port. The floor includes a two floor portions residing primarily in different planes and an angled transition portion interconnecting the two floor portions. The transition portion defines an air and water exhaust port to allow water that enters the housing through the air intake and air exhaust ports, such as from wind-driven rain, to drain out of the housing.

ELECTRONIC APPARATUS WITH CHANNELED COOLING

An apparatus includes a housing, at least one heat-generating electrical module, and at least one fan. The housing includes a floor and at least one sidewall extending around the floor's perimeter. A first sidewall end section defines an air intake port and a second sidewall end section defines a first air exhaust port. The floor includes two noncoplanar floor portions and a transition portion interconnecting them. The transition portion defines a second air exhaust port. The heat-generating module(s) are positioned over the floor portions. Inside surfaces of the floor portions together with external surfaces of the heat-generating module(s) define at least one air flow channel therebetween. The fan or fans are positioned proximate the air intake port and operable to draw air into the housing through the intake port. The fan or fans force the indrawn air through the air flow channel(s) and out the air exhaust ports.
