Braided articles and methods for their manufacture
Aspects herein are directed to braided articles and methods for their manufacture. The braided articles may include articles of footwear having braided uppers. The braided uppers may include a base yarn and a high performance yarn. The high performance yarn may form a braided structure within the braided upper. The braided structure may be continuously braided to provide continuous support to a wearer's foot when the article of footwear is worn as intended, by a wearer. Additionally, the high performance yarn may be configured to exit the braided upper and re-enter the braided upper to form a plurality of arcuate loops along the throat area of the braided article of footwear for accommodating a lace for further adjustment of the fit of the article of footwear on the wearer's foot, when worn.
LAST PRODUCTION ASSISTING APPARATUS AND LAST PRODUCTION SYSTEM
A last production assisting apparatus comprises a camera, a storage, a processor, and a display. The camera images a plurality of parts constituting a last. The storage stores production information for producing the last. Based on the production information, the processor calculates attachment positions or the like for the plurality of parts imaged by the camera. The display displays the attachment positions calculated by the processor for the plurality of parts.
SHOE FORM MANUFACTURING ASSISTANCE APPARATUS AND SHOE FORM MANUFACTURING SYSTEM
A shoe form manufacturing assistance apparatus includes: a receiving unit that receives information about a shoe of a user; a calculation unit that selects, based on the information received by the receiving unit, at least one type of a shoe form model from a plurality of types of shoe form models that are different from each other in terms of manufacturing method, and calculates manufacture data for a shoe form in accordance with the at least one type of the shoe form model that is selected; and an output unit that outputs the manufacture data calculated by the calculation unit.
Braided Article and Method of Making
In one embodiment, an article of footwear includes a first braided layer and a second braided layer. The first braided layer passes along an upper surface of a midsole while the second braided layer passes along a lower surface of the midsole. In another embodiment, an article of footwear includes a first braided layer and a second braided layer. The first braided layer passes along an upper surface of a plate while the second braided layer passes along a lower surface of the plate. The plate includes a plurality of apertures. The plurality of apertures are configured to receive ground engaging members. In another embodiment, an article of footwear includes a unitary braided component that includes a first layer and a second layer.

SHOE LAST FOR AIR ACTIVATION AND AIR COOLING
A shoe last for air activation and air cooling utilized to heat and activate as well as cool and shape a semi-finished shoe made up of a midsole and a vamp includes a body, at least one inlet, and at least one jet outlet. The body has an outer surface. The at least one inlet is disposed on the outer surface of the body. The at least one jet outlet is disposed on the outer surface of the body, is spaced apart from the at least one inlet, and fluidly communicates with the at least one inlet. The semi-finished shoe is sleeved on the body and covers the at least one jet outlet. Gas is injected into the body via the at least one inlet, flows out of the body via the at least one jet outlet, and is ejected to the semi-finished shoe.

METHOD FOR GENERATING FOOT SHAPE SPECIFICATION DATA, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SHOE, METHOD FOR SEARCHING READY-MADE SHOES, ASSISTANCE SYSTEM FOR CUSTOM SHOE MANUFACTURING, AND READY-MADE SHOE SEARCH SYSTEM
A method for generating foot shape specification data includes obtaining foot shape 3D data (FS3D) by measuring the three-dimensional shape of a bare foot (BF) of a subject (P) of measurement; generating a virtual insole (VIS) for measurement based on the obtained foot shape 3D data (FS3D); generating corrected foot shape 3D data (CFSD) by adding the data of the virtual insole (VIS) to a sole portion of the obtained foot shape 3D data; and obtaining foot shape specification data (FSSD) by measuring a predefined dimension of the corrected foot shape 3D data (CFSD) to determine a foot shape.
