Clickable pivoting cover and shield assembly and electronic device using same
A pivoting assembly for an electronic device, being a clickable-open and clickable-shut cover or shield with click-step positioning includes a pivoting shaft extending along an imaginary axis, an inner movable member, an intermediate movable member, and an outer stationary member concentrically surrounding the imaginary axis. First positioning structures and first engaging structures are connected to one of the inner movable member and the intermediate movable member and a number of second positioning structures and second engaging structures are also so connected. When the pivoting shaft is rotated in an opening direction, the first positioning structures compress and slide across the first engaging structures. When the pivoting shaft is rotated in a closing direction, the second positioning structures compress and slide across the second engaging structures.
FOLDABLE ELECTRONIC DEVICE INCLUDING FLEXIBLE PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARD
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a foldable housing and a flexible printed circuit board. The foldable housing includes a first housing, a second housing, and a folding part between the first housing and the second housing. The flexible printed circuit board may be located in an inner space of the foldable housing. The flexible printed circuit board includes a first part corresponding to the folding part, a second part extending from the first part to the first housing, and a third part extending from the first part to the second housing. The folding part includes at least one hinge connecting the first housing and the second housing with each other, and a hinge housing configured to cover the at least one hinge. The hinge housing includes a first surface exposing to an outside in a folding state of the foldable housing.
Devices and accessories employing a living hinge
A device incorporating both a magnet and a living hinge may be employed to construct cases to protect electronic devices and to function as a closure for cases and lidded containers. Such cases often can be bent three 360° allowing the cases to be either closed protecting devices therein are closed upon themselves allowing the case to function to secure an electronic device to a substrate such as an article of clothing. The devices of the disclosure can also be used to organize and hold loose items together.

System and Method for Aligning Hinged Screens
An information handling system includes adjacent displays connected by a hinge. A processor renders a first image on the first display, renders a second image on the second display, and receives data representing a misalignment between the first display and the second display. The data is implemented to compensate for the misalignment between the first display and the second display.

An electronic device includes a casing and an expansion card. The casing includes a chassis and an installation frame. The installation frame is pivotably disposed on the chassis. The expansion card is fixed to the installation frame. The expansion card is movable along with the installation frame so as to be located in the chassis or at least partially located outside the chassis.

A display device reduces or minimizes a stress applied to a display panel in a folded state. The display device includes a display panel including a bendable area; and a panel support portion combined to the display panel and including a multi-joint member to support the bendable area, and the multi-joint member includes: a plurality of hard material portions sequentially arranged in a first direction, mutually combined to be rotated with respect to one another, and including a first surface arranged toward the bendable area; and a soft material portion contacting the first surface and fixed to the plurality of hard material portions.

In an example embodiment, an electronic device may include a display, a first housing; a second housing, and a hinge assembly, wherein the hinge assembly may include a bracket structure, a pair of rotator structures respectively rotatable on a pair of hinge axes, a pair of arms respectively rotatable on a pair of arm axes, and each including an arm cam and a penetrating rail, a pair of pins respectively passing through the penetrating rails, connected to the rotator structure, respectively rotatable on a pair of pin axes, and each including a pin cam interoperating with the arm cam and a sliding guide slidable along the penetrating rail, and a pair of elastic members respectively connected to the pair of pins and each configured to press the pin cam toward the arm cam.

Systems and methods are provided for a viewing headset usable with a display device. In one example, the viewing headset includes a headset lens frame with a lens frame body that has a lens positioned therein and a front panel coupled to the lens frame body via a hinge, the hinge permitting rotation of the front panel within a predetermined angular range. The headset lens frame further includes a display attachment device coupled to the lens frame body and the front panel, the display attachment device configured to removably secure a display device to the front panel.

An electronic device include: a first housing; a second housing; a display module including a flexible substrate, a TFT layer on the flexible substrate, a protection layer on the TFT layer, and a deformation region which deforms as a relative position between the first housing and the second housing changes; a bending portion including a first layer integral with the flexible substrate and bent, and a second layer integral with the TFT layer, bent and laminated on the first layer; a display driver IC (DDI) in the bending portion; a touch wire on the protection layer to be connected to a touch circuit; and a detection wire on the protection layer in the deformation region and having an electrical value changeable by physical damage to the protection layer. The detection wire extends from the protection layer to the second layer so as to be electrically connected to the DDI.
