The adapting bracket comprises a chute comprising two opposite sidewalls and a bottom wall. The bottom wall is disposed between the two sidewalls. The adapting member is disposed on the adapting bracket. The adapting member comprises an adapting interface and is in communicating with the chute. The at least one locking component is disposed in the adapting bracket. Each of the locking components comprises a locking member movably extending into the chute. When an electronic component is inserted in the chute, a mating interface of the electronic component is connected to the adapting interface, and the locking member is inserted into an engaging groove of the electronic component. By protecting the electronic component with the adapting bracket, it is possible to avoid damage to the electronic component from impacts.
Heat sink assembly for an electrical connector assembly
A receptacle assembly includes a heat sink assembly for a receptacle cage for dissipating heat from a pluggable module plugged into the receptacle cage. The heat sink assembly includes fin plates and spacer plates arranged in a plate stack independently movable for engaging and conforming to the pluggable module. Each spacer plate includes a thermal interface at a bottom of the spacer plate engaging the pluggable module. Each fin plate includes a thermal interface at a bottom of the fin plate engaging the pluggable module. The fin plates include branched fin plates and unbranched fin plates. Each of the unbranched fin plates are planar between the bottom and the distal end thereof. Each of the branched fin plates are non-planar and include at least one bend between the bottom and the distal end thereof.
DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING EXPANSION CARD
A device comprises a riser board and a riser bracket. The riser board has a connector that receives an expansion card. The riser bracket is coupled to the riser board, and includes a body portion and a latch. The body portion is coupled to the riser board such that the body portion is spaced apart from the riser board connector. The latch is rotatably coupled to the body portion, and rotates between a first position and a second position. When the latch is in the first position and the expansion card is received by the riser board connector, the expansion card is removable from the riser board connector. When the latch is in the second position and the expansion card is received by the riser board connector, the latch engages the expansion card such that the expansion card is not removable from the riser board connector.
ELECTRONIC APPARATUS HAVING A DOOR STRUCTURE FOR ACCESSING COMMUNICATION SOCKET
The present application discloses an electronic apparatus including an apparatus frame having an aperture; a door movably secured to the apparatus frame and configured to be movable between a first position at which the aperture is accessible and a second position at which the aperture is substantially closed; and a communication socket at least partially enclosed by the apparatus frame; the communication socket having a plurality of communication terminals configured to be accessible for electrical connection with an external apparatus through the aperture. The communication socket includes a first member, the door includes a second member, the first member and the second member being magnetically attractive to each other and cooperatively configured to secure the door in the second position.
Slim profile latch for use in an information handling system chassis
An information handling resource may include a housing configured to enclose components of the information handling resource and a latch comprising a body and a purchase. The body may be coupled to the housing such that the latch is rotatable relative to the housing about an axis parallel to an exterior face of the housing and further rotatable in a plane perpendicular to the exterior face such that the body is rotatable from a closed position relative to the housing to an open position relative to the housing and vice versa. The purchase may be coupled to the body such that the purchase is rotatable relative to the body about an axis parallel to the plane in which the body rotates relative to the housing such that the purchase is rotatable from a first position relative to the body to a second position relative to the body and vice versa.
COMPOSITE CONNECTOR CARRYING POWER, ELECTRO-OPTICAL DATA, AND FLUID INPUT/OUTPUT
A composite connector includes modular data connectors, electrical power connectors, a fluid exchange connector, an alignment feature, and a housing. The modular data connectors include electrical data connectors and optical data connectors and are configured to carry data. The electrical power connectors are configured to carry electrical power, and the fluid exchange connector is configured to carry cooling fluid. The composite connector includes an alignment feature to align the composite connector with a complementary connector. The housing of the composite connector is configured to contain the modular data connectors, the electrical power connectors, the fluid exchange connector, and the alignment feature in a confined physical space.
Card-type connector having a rotatable cover configured to be fastened to the circuit board
A connector is mountable on a circuit board. A card-type device is accommodatable in the connector. The connector comprises a base, a cover and a terminal. The cover is attached to the base to be openable and closable. The terminal is held by the base. The cover has one or more connection portions. The connection portion is directly connected to the circuit board under a close state where the connector is mounted on the circuit board and the cover is closed relative to the base.
Physical layer management (PLM) system for use with an optical distribution frame having trays with selectable patch side
One embodiment is directed to a tray for use in a subrack of a rack. The tray comprises a printed circuit board configured so that a plurality of connections can be made at a plurality of positions on the printed circuit board, each of the plurality of connections involving at least one connector positioned on a patch side of the plurality of positions and the least one connector having a device associated therewith in which information is stored. The tray is configured so that either side of the positions can be used as the patch side. The tray is configured so that the devices associated with the connectors involved in making the connections at the patch side can be read via the tray. The devices associated with the connections can be implemented, for example, using RFID tags or connection point identifier (CPID) storage devices (such as EEPROMs).
CARD-TYPE STORAGE DEVICE HAVING HEAT DISSIPATION STRUCTURE AND SLOT DEVICE
A card-type storage device and a slot device, which are capable of preventing lowering of the reliability due to repeated insertion and removal of the storage device. A card medium includes card thermal contacts each having a contact surface which intersects with a thickness direction of the card medium. A first card upper guide surface restricts the position of the card medium in the thickness direction to a first position. An escape portion restricts the position of the card medium in the thickness direction to a different position from the first position. A second card upper guide surface links the first card upper guide surface and the escape portion.
