Data storage device adaptor with securement mechanism

In one embodiment, an apparatus is provided. The apparatus includes a printed circuit board. The apparatus also includes a first connector coupled to the printed circuit board. The first connector is configured to couple the apparatus to a computing device. The apparatus further includes a second connector coupled to the printed circuit board. The second connector is configured to couple the apparatus to a data storage device. The apparatus further includes a securement mechanism comprising a first portion and a second portion. The securement mechanism is movable about the apparatus between a first position and a second position. The first portion is configured to maintain the securement mechanism at the first position. The second portion is configured to secure the data storage device to the apparatus when the securement mechanism is in the first position.

MOUNTING ASSEMBLY AND SERVER

The invention provides a mounting assembly and a server. The mounting assembly includes fixed base, adjustable base, first protrusion and second protrusion. Adjustable base is rotatably disposed on fixed base. When adjustable base is at first mounting position, first protrusion protrudes from adjustable base along protruding direction and is configured for horizontal installation and removal of first expansion card with respect to motherboard. When adjustable base is at second mounting position, second protrusion protrudes from adjustable base along protruding direction and is configured for vertical installation and removal of second expansion card with respect to motherboard. A position at which first protrusion is located when protruding along protruding direction is different from position at which second protrusion is located when protruding along protruding direction.

Mechanical latch module

A latch module that includes a button carriage that is slidably coupled to a latch module chassis, thereby enabling the button carriage to move between an extended and a depressed position. The button carriage, when a user-operable button of the button carriage is depressed a first time, moves from the extended position to the depressed position. An inverter arm that is pivotally coupled to the latch module chassis and that is mechanically linked to the button carriage pivots when the button carriage, moves from the extended position to the depressed position, as the button is depressed. A latch arm that is mechanically linked to the inverter arm slides from a non-blocking position into a blocking position when the inverter arm pivots. In the blocking position, the latch arm extends beyond a retaining pin of a chassis; and in the non-blocking position, the latch arm clears the retaining pin.

ELECTRONICS TESTER

A tester apparatus is described. Various components contribute to the functionality of the tester apparatus, including an insertion and removal apparatus, thermal posts, independent gimbaling, the inclusion of a photo detector, a combination of thermal control methods, a detect circuitry in a socket lid, through posts with stand-offs, and a voltage retargeting.

PULL AID STRUCTURE

A pull aid structure includes a handle; a connecting element movably disposed at the handle; and a positioning element disposed at the handle and movably coupled to the connecting element. The pull aid structure enables a user to place the connecting element on an object, rotate the handle to fasten another object, confine the positioning element to the connecting element, and compress an elastic element, so as to couple together the two objects. To remove one of the objects, the user separates the positioning element and the connecting element to thereby separate the two objects, thereby achieving quick coupling and ease of removal.

PULL-OUT AIDING DEVICE AND CHASSIS-WALL MODULE WITH PULL-OUT AIDING FUNCTION
20180220544 · 2018-08-02 ·

A pull-out aiding device is configured for mounting on an object, in which a corresponding apparatus is mounted. The pull-out aiding device includes a pulling member and a handle member. The pulling member includes a first pivot section and an abutting section for abutting against the corresponding apparatus to move the latter forward. The handle member includes a second pivot section and an operating section. The second pivot section is pivotally connected to the first pivot section, such that the handle member is turnable about the second pivot section relative to the pulling member and brings the latter to move forward.

An electronic control unit according to the present invention includes an electronic control element which includes a printed circuit board that electrically controls respective components of a vehicle, and a heat radiating portion that is provided at one side of the printed circuit board, a housing which accommodates the electronic control element, a connector which connects the electronic control element and the vehicle, a sealing unit which seals a connecting portion between the electronic control element and the connector, and a fixing bracket, and further includes a rivet fastening means in order to fastened the housing and the fixing bracket.

GUIDE ASSEMBLY FOR PROPER ELECTRICAL BLIND MATING OF A MODULE IN AN ENCLOSURE

A guide assembly an enclosure-based device such as a computer provided in a rack-mountable chassis. The guide assembly is configured to facilitate blind connector mating such as electrical interconnection between a receiving connector on a previously-mounted board and an edge connector on a circuit board supported in a housing of a module that is slid or inserted into the interior space of the enclosure or chassis. The guide assembly (and devices that include a guide assembly) address the two design challenges discussed above of increasing numbers of circuits in devices that need to be connected and of decreasing pitch between the connectors. The guide assembly is configured, with its mechanical features, to decouple the degrees of freedom (DOFs) between the module being inserted into the chassis and the receiving/mating connector on the previously-mounted board. The guide assembly constrains five out of the six DOFs, which effectively ensures proper connector mating.

Flash module

A system is disclosed that includes a flash module and a chassis. The flash module includes a top cover, a bottom cover, a printed circuit board, a capacitor, and a latch assembly. The latch assembly includes a housing having an opening and an inner cavity, a pull member, a reversing link, and a latch member. The chassis has an opening that is configured to receive the flash module. Also, the chassis includes a retaining pin coupled to the housing. The retaining pin protrudes into the inner cavity of the housing, and the second end of the latch member is configured to engage the retaining pin.
