SENSOR PROVIDED WITH PLURALITY OF CIRCUIT BOARDS

A base member of the sensor includes a first projection part, a second projection part, and a third projection part, being columnar and projecting from a first placement surface. Tip ends of the first, second and third projection parts are formed on second placement surfaces. The first and second projection parts respectively include a fourth pin and a fifth pin inserted through a second rigid substrate and projecting from the second placement surface. Three ribs are formed on a peripheral surface of the fourth pin and disposed so that positions viewed from a center of the fourth pin respectively form angles less than 180 degrees. Two ribs are formed on a peripheral surface of the fifth pin, and project along a fourth line perpendicular to a third line connecting the fourth pin and the fifth pin.

Method and apparatus for mounting a circuit board in an enclosure

A mounting assembly for accurately positioning, attaching, and supporting a circuit board such as a midplane board within a chassis. The assembly's design facilitates an improved assembly method that includes fastening the board to the chassis so to provide reliable connector mate and rapid assembly. The mounting assembly includes a clamp member) and a spring assembly that act in combination to secure a circuit board onto datum features provided on a chassis and/or its modified and/or lightweight alignment bulkhead, which is part of the new assembly. The new assembly design enables a tight tolerance loop between mating components while also providing a more consistent connector engagement when compared with many prior device designs. In some embodiments, a single fastener (e.g., a nut) is used to attach the clamped and captured circuit board to the chassis. The board is “captured” as it is sandwiched between the modified bulkhead and the clamp.

LATCHING SYSTEM

In one example a latching system is disclosed. The latching system has a handle that moves along an axis of motion between three positions: a latched position, an unlatched position and an engaged position. The handle moves a retention clip from a locked position into an unlocked position when the handle moves from the unlatched position into the engaged position.

Pull aid structure

A pull aid structure includes a handle; a connecting element movably disposed at the handle; and a positioning element disposed at the handle and movably coupled to the connecting element. The pull aid structure enables a user to place the connecting element on an object, rotate the handle to fasten another object, confine the positioning element to the connecting element, and compress an elastic element, so as to couple together the two objects. To remove one of the objects, the user separates the positioning element and the connecting element to thereby separate the two objects, thereby achieving quick coupling and ease of removal.

Cooling mechanism for electrionic component mounted on a printed wiring board

An electronic component module assembly includes a printed wiring board, and a stiffener assembly affixed to a first side of the printed wiring board. The stiffener assembly includes an outer stiffener secured to the printed wiring board, an inner stiffener removably located in an opening of the outer stiffener. The inner stiffener has one or more inner stiffener pockets formed therein, and one or more electronic components are installed in one or more inner stiffener pockets, and electrically connected to the printed wiring board.

EXPANSION CARD CAGE AND SERVER CHASSIS

An expansion card cage includes a cage body and a stopper. The cage body includes a first side plate, a second side plate, and a third side plate. The first side plate is configured for installations of a riser card and an expansion card. The second side plate and the third side plate respectively extend along two opposite directions from the second side plate. The third side plate has a contact surface and two mount portions protruding from the contact surface, and the contact surface is in contact with the expansion card. Two opposite sides of the stopper are respectively and pivotally connected to the two mount portions of the third side plate. A pivot axis of the stopper is parallel to a longitudinal axis of the third side plate, and the stopper is in contact with a side of the expansion card away from the contact surface.

Method and device for controlling removal of a module with electrical connectors from a computer chassis

A locking mechanism for a computing device controls movement of a removable module within a computer chassis. The locking mechanism comprises a lock pin, a head, and a spring stopper. The lock pin includes an elongated shaft and a head. The spring stopper is disposed on the elongated shaft. The spring is disposed about the elongated shaft such that the spring extends from the spring stopper toward an end of the elongated shaft. As the lock pin moves along a longitudinal axis of the elongated shaft from a first position to a second position, the spring is configured to compress between the spring stopper and a fixed bracket in the computer chassis. The opposite second end extends through a hole in the removable module, thereby preventing the removable module from being removed from the computer chassis.

A chassis mounting frame includes a frame body, a fixing plate, a coupling member, a rotating member, and a pivoting member. The fixing plate is mounted on a side of the frame body and includes a resisting structure. The rotating member is provided on the frame body and coupled to the coupling member and configured to drive the coupling member to move inside the frame body and drive the coupling member and the frame body to move together. The pivoting member is provided on a side of the frame body and coupled to the coupling member. The coupling member is configured to drive the pivoting member to rotate to resist against the resisting structure.
