APPARATUS, SYSTEM, AND METHOD FOR SUPPORTING FIELD-REPLACEABLE UNITS IN TELECOMMUNICATIONS DEVICES VIA RETRACTABLE GUIDE RAILS
A disclosed apparatus may include (1) a retractable guide rail movably coupled to a chassis, wherein the retractable guide rail is configured to support a field-replaceable unit when the field-replaceable unit is installed in the chassis, (2) a support bracket coupled to the chassis and aligned with the retractable guide rail within the chassis and (3) a locking bracket movably coupled to the support bracket, wherein the locking bracket is configured to (A) engage the retractable guide rail in an expanded position within the chassis when the field-replaceable unit is not installed in the chassis and (B) disengage the retractable guide rail such that the retractable guide rail moves to a retracted position when the field-replaceable unit is installed in the chassis. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
Method for installing a switching module in an electrical cabinet, corresponding installation kit and switching module
A method for installing a heavy and bulky switching module, in particular a static transfer switch, in an electrical cabinet, by way of an installation kit to make the switching module easily removable and interchangeable, regardless of its size and weight. The electrical cabinet is equipped with the installation kit including at least two support rails, extendable between an extended position outside, and a retracted position inside, the electrical cabinet, and forming two parallel rolling paths. The switching module is equipped with rollers in two parallel rows, arranged to circulate on the rolling paths to enable movement of the switching module relative to the electrical cabinet by pushing and pulling with minimal effort. A raised transport pallet is also used to facilitate handling of the switching module outside of the electrical cabinet by a simple industrial truck, without resorting to a lifting device.
EJECTOR FOR FIELD REPLACEABLE MODULE
An ejector may be provided. The ejector may comprise a pawl, a trigger, and a handle. The pawl may be configured to rotate relative to a line card about a first axis. The pawl may comprise a pawl concavity. The trigger may be configured to rotate relative to the line card about a second axis. The trigger may comprise a trigger catch and a trigger lever. The trigger catch may be configured to engage the pawl concavity. The handle may be connected to the pawl and configured to rotate relative to the pawl about a third axis. The trigger catch may be configured to engage the pawl concavity to inhibit rotation of the pawl about the first axis. The trigger catch may be configured to disengage the pawl concavity and to allow rotation of the pawl about the first axis.
EJECTING MECHANISM AND DETACHABLE DEVICE WITH THE AFOREMENTIONED EJECTING MECHANISM
An ejecting mechanism is provided and includes a main body, a driving component and a driven component. The main body is slidable relative to a casing. The driving component and the driven component are pivotable relative to the main body. When the driving component switches from a first position to a second position, the driving component drives the driven component to switch from a third position to a fourth position. During a process that the driving component and the driven component respectively switch from the first position and the third position to the second position and the fourth position, the driving component and the driven component respectively push two opposite lateral walls of the casing to drive the main body to slide from an installation position to a detachment position relative to the casing. Furthermore, an electronic device with the aforementioned ejecting mechanism is provided.
Modular data storage system
A modular data storage system can consist of at least first and second enclosures spanning a single pair of rails. The first and second enclosures may each have keyed couplers that mate to align the first and second enclosures along a common plane while being suspended between the single pair of rails.
Secure electronic device and disassembling tool
A secure electronic device with matching disassembling tool includes a housing and an electronic element. The disassembling tool includes a securing member, a first elastic disassembling member, and a second disassembling member. The securing member is mounted to the housing. The securing member includes an elastic locking block locked to the electronic element. The first elastic disassembling member can reach and be inserted into the securing member. The second disassembling member is inserted in the first disassembling member. When the second disassembling member is then rotated, the first disassembling member is deformed to press the elastic locking block, which unlocks from the electronic element.
Control cabinet and associated insertable control device
A control cabinet for at least one electrical drive controller includes a control cabinet housing a first cabinet compartment formed in the control cabinet housing and having at least one inlet opening for fresh air, at least one first transfer opening and a fresh air duct flow-connecting the inlet opening to the first transfer opening. A second cabinet compartment is formed in the control cabinet housing and has at least one outlet opening for exhaust air, at least one second transfer opening, and an exhaust air duct flow-connecting the outlet opening to the second transfer opening. A third cabinet compartment is formed in the control cabinet housing and is sealed off in terms of flow from the first cabinet compartment, the second cabinet compartment, and the environment outside the control cabinet. A partition delimits the third cabinet compartment in terms of flow from the first cabinet compartment and the second cabinet compartment, and has the at least one first transfer opening and the at least one second transfer opening. The third cabinet compartment is in the form of a rack with at least one drawer, wherein each drawer is designed to receive an insertable control device.
Rotational hook mechanism for drop prevention and protection during module removal
An apparatus comprising a module, a hook assembly coupled to the module and configured to be rotated from a deployed position to a storage position when the module is fully inserted into a chassis and a spring coupled between the module and the hook assembly, wherein the spring is configured to extend the hook assembly from the storage position to the deployed position when the module is not fully inserted into the chassis.
Apparatus, system, and method for improving communicative connections between field-replaceable units and telecommunication systems
The disclosed apparatus may include (1) a housing designed to house a field-replaceable unit within a telecommunication system, (2) a connector that is designed to electrically interface the field-replaceable unit with the telecommunication system in the housing, (3) a spring that is coupled to the housing, and (4) a movable injection cam that is coupled to the spring such that, when the field-replaceable unit is installed in the housing by way of an ejection lever that presses against the movable injection cam, the spring applies a force on the movable injection cam that causes the movable injection cam to push the field-replaceable unit toward the connector. Various other apparatuses, systems, and methods are also disclosed.
MOVABLE HANDLE
A movable handle includes a movable member and a seat, both of which can be made of a plastic, a metal or a composite material. The movable member includes a main body and a bent portion. The main body can be bar-shaped, block-like, ball-shaped, wedge-shaped or in any other suitable shape, and the bent portion can be bent inward, outward or in any other direction relative to the main body. The main body of the movable member is movably assembled to the seat, and the seat is connected to a first object, such that the movable member is indirectly connected to the first object via the seat and can be turned or moved upward and downward or leftward and rightward on and relative to the first object.
