BASE STATION INTERFACE DEVICE OF DISTRIBUTED ANTENNA SYSTEM
A base station interface device including an interface board, which is located in a housing and determines an upper portion of a first surface as a first mounting location and an upper portion of a second surface opposite to the first surface as a second mounting location, including a relay connector wherein one end is exposed to the upper portion of the first surface and the other end is exposed to the upper portion of the second surface; a base station signal matching unit mounted on the first mounting location and including a first connector coupled to the one end of the relay connector; and a base station signal processing unit mounted on the second mounting location and including a second connector coupled to the other end of the relay connector.
Architectural Panel System Composed of a Combination of Sensory Output Tile Modules and Non-Sensory-Output Tile Modules, and Components Therefor
Architectural tiled panel systems composed of at least one sensory output tile module and a plurality of non-sensory-output tile modules. Each sensory output tile module includes any one or more of a variety of electronic devices, such as a video display device, an audio speaker, and an illumination device (e.g., an LED or light bulb), among others. Each non-sensory-output module includes a presentation face that is visually appealing. The non-sensory-output tile modules can be used to provide aesthetic surrounds for each of one or more sensory output tile modules and/or groups of sensory output tile modules. In some embodiments, a plurality of video display type sensory output tile modules are grouped together and controlled to provide a larger mosaicked video display. In some embodiments, abutting tile modules are secured together using connectors having a latch mechanism for each tile module connected thereby.
Assembly for Attaching and Connecting a Computer Data Storage Device to an On-Board Computer and Associated Method for Use
The present invention relates to an assembly (10) for attaching a data storage device (12) to an on-board computer including an encapsulation structure (17), and a receiving structure (18) for receiving the encapsulation structure (17) comprising a first connector complementary to a connector of the storage device and a second connector complementary to a connector of the onboard computer.
The encapsulation structure (17) and the storage device (12) mounted therein are movable relative to the receiving structure (18) between an inserted configuration in which the encapsulation structure (17) and the storage device (12) are inserted into the receiving structure (18) and the connector of the storage device (12) is connected to the first connector, and a removed configuration in which the encapsulation structure (17) and the storage device (12) are removed from the receiving structure (18).
Printed circuit board comprising blind press-fit vias
An apparatus comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) having a first surface and a second surface, a plurality of blind press-fit vias penetrating the first surface and extending partially through the PCB toward the second surface, the blind press-fit vias configured to receive press-fit connectors of at least one component to be connected to the PCB, and a plurality of electrical connectors disposed in a region of the second surface opposite the blind press-fit vias and configured to interface with one or more signal processing components disposed on the second surface.
Ruggedized Avionics with Stiffening Frames for Use on Kinetically Launched Vehicles
Ruggedized avionics assemblies for use on kinetically launched space vehicles are disclosed. The avionic assemblies are able to maintain structural integrity and functionality under high acceleration forces generated during kinetic launch, including acceleration forces of >5,000 times Earth's gravity in a single direction of loading. The avionics assembly is ruggedized to withstand this level of acceleration force during launch via a plurality of constraining elements to constrain a plurality of printed circuit boards aligned in parallel to an acceleration vector. Further, a high specific strength and stiffness composition of the plurality of constraining elements aids in supporting the printed circuit boards and preventing them from bending and dislodging electronic components mounted to the printed circuit boards.
Digital display panel module and associated digital display panel
A module for a digital display panel includes a circuit board, a first face of which presents a network of light emitting diodes. The module also includes a chassis fixed on a second face of the circuit board, and a water permeable connector mounted on the circuit board. The chassis includes a base around the water permeable connector, a top part of the base having at least one groove, wherein a seal is inserted. Further, the module includes a power supply unit fitted with a continuous voltage connector surrounded by a ferrite and fitted in the water permeable connector. The power supply unit is attached to the chassis so that a lower plate of the power supply unit co-operates with the seal of the base to ensure a seal around the water permeable connector and the DC voltage connector of the power supply unit.
CLOUD-BASED SCALE-UP SYSTEM COMPOSITION
Technologies for composing a managed node with multiple processors on multiple compute sleds to cooperatively execute a workload include a memory, one or more processors connected to the memory, and an accelerator. The accelerator further includes a coherence logic unit that is configured to receive a node configuration request to execute a workload. The node configuration request identifies the compute sled and a second compute sled to be included in a managed node. The coherence logic unit is further configured to modify a portion of local working data associated with the workload on the compute sled in the memory with the one or more processors of the compute sled, determine coherence data indicative of the modification made by the one or more processors of the compute sled to the local working data in the memory, and send the coherence data to the second compute sled of the managed node.
