Information processing apparatus
A controller and a rectangular parallelepiped power supply apparatus are coupled to a rear surface of a midplane, to which a plurality of storage media drives are coupled in a front surface of the midplane. A plurality of interface connectors arranged in a left-right direction are provided at a front end of a controller substrate. The rear surface of the midplane includes a plurality of connectors for controller, which are a plurality of connectors arranged in the left-right direction to which interface connectors of the controller are respectively coupled, and a connector for power supply, which are connectors to which a power supply apparatus set horizontally is coupled. A part of a row of the connectors for controller is present below the power supply apparatus coupled sideways to the connector for power supply.
Blind-mated power distribution units
A power distribution unit (PDU) comprises a housing, an input on the housing, and an input connector coupled to the input on the housing. The input connector is connectable to a power source that provides power for distribution by the PDU to one or more power consuming devices. The PDU includes an output including output connectors that provide blind-mate connection with a connection interface coupled to the one or more power consuming devices.
WALL HANGING SYSTEM
A wall panel system including a first wall panel, the first panel including at least a first panel hook portion. The system also including a second wall panel having a different configuration than the first wall panel. The second panel includes at least a second panel hook portion and a third panel hook portion opposing the second panel hook portion. The first wall panel is configured to engage with the second wall panel to create a wall panel assembly.
MODULAR MASS STORAGE SYSTEM
A system for storing data includes a rack, one or more data storage modules coupled to the rack, and one or more data control modules coupled to the rack. The data storage modules may include a chassis, two or more backplanes coupled to the chassis, and one or more mass storage devices (for example, hard disk drives) coupled to the backplanes. The data control modules may access the mass storage devices in the data storage modules.
System for securely connecting/disconnecting power for a module in a high-power modular uninterruptable power supply and associated installation
A power connection/disconnection system for connecting/disconnecting an electric power module in a high-power modular uninterruptable power supply installation includes: a frame, a rigid support extending along a first direction, a set of connectors mounted on the support and including a ground connector and power connectors. The connectors are successively aligned along the first direction and each shaped to be electrically connected along a second direction orthogonal to the first direction with bars of a power connection box of the installation and a translation device configured to move, using an actuator, the support in the second direction. The ground connector extends higher along the second direction than the power connectors. The ground connector is intended to be electrically connected to a ground bar of the box.
Electronic device and tray structure thereof
An electronic device is provided. The electronic device includes a housing, a first riser module, a hard-disk backplane module, and a plurality of hard-disks. The first riser module is disposed in the housing. The first riser module includes a first tray structure and a first riser board. The first riser board is disposed on the first tray structure. The first tray structure is adapted to move the first riser board in a first direction. The hard-disk backplane module is disposed in the housing. The tray structure is adapted to move the first riser board in the first direction to connect the hard-disk backplane module. The hard-disks are connected to the hard-disk backplane module. The modules of the electronic device of the embodiment of the invention can be coupled together more easily.
ROTATIONAL POWER DELIVERY MODULE FOR SERVERS
Embodiments are disclosed of a power delivery module that includes a power delivery board rotatable about a first axis between a first orientation and a second orientation. A first pair of electrical contacts, one positive and one negative, is on a first side of the board, and a second pair of electrical contacts, one positive and one negative, is on a second side of the board. The second positive contact is directly opposite the first negative contact and the second negative contact is directly opposite the first positive contact. A clip module is coupled to the power delivery board and includes a pair of power clips to engage with and electrically couple to the first or the second pairs of contacts. The clip module is rotatable about a second axis parallel to and spaced apart from the first axis between a first position where the power clips engage the first pair of contacts and a second position where the power clips engage the second pair of contacts.
Power supply combination having heterogeneous power supplies
A power supply combination comprises two multi-voltage power sources having respective power rails delivering power at a first voltage and respective power rails delivering power at a second voltage. The power supply combination also comprises two single-voltage power sources having respective power rails delivering power at the first voltage. A first power combining circuit is electrically connected to the first voltage power rails of two multi-voltage power sources and to the two single-voltage power sources and delivers power at the first voltage to a first voltage input of a load. A second power combining circuit is electrically connected to the second voltage power rails of the two multi-voltage power sources and delivers power at the second voltage to a second voltage input of the load. A power supply network may connect a plurality of power supply combinations to a power management unit for reporting failures of the power sources.
Apparatus and Method for Module Retention in a Motor Control Center
An apparatus to retain modules within a Motor Control Center (MCC) includes a plate mounted to each side of the module housing and at least one spring mounted to each plate within the module housing. The plate includes a hook at one end which connects to and pivots about an opening in the module while retaining the plate to the module. The plate also includes a retaining member extending through an opening in the module housing and configured to receive one end of the spring. The spring is under tension when connected between the retaining member of the plate and the module housing, pulling the retaining member toward the module housing. A biasing member which engages the housing of the MCC as the module is inserted is compressed toward the module during insertion. The spring pushes the biasing member outward after insertion, positively retaining the module to the MCC.
