Modular replaceable mobile communication device
A mobile communication device is disclosed, and is modularized to include an electronic device for performing mobile communication and a frame assembly. The frame assembly comprises a circuit board having an electrical connection interface and a frame having a recess for receiving the electronic device. In addition, a first electrical connector is disposed on a side wall of the recess, and the electronic device has a second electrical connector connected to the first electrical connector, such that the electronic device coupled to the circuit board via the forgoing two electrical connectors. By inserting the mobile communication device into an accommodation space in a casing of a host electronic device, the electrical connection interface is inserted into an electrical slot that is arranged in a printed circuit board in the casing, thereby achieving a function expansion of mobile communication for the host electronic device.
Lever extension mechanism on a computing device component
Embodiments described herein relate to a system for securing a computing device component. The system may include the computing device component that includes: a base component comprising a pass through hole, a rotating member coupled to the base component and adapted to rotate about an axis, a lever body that includes: a base-holding portion adapted to be positioned around the base component, and a lever extension at a first end of the lever body and extending substantially orthogonally in a direction substantially orthogonal to the axis, a lever locking component coupled to the lever body and that includes: a locking actuator, and an inserting component adapted to insert into the pass-through hole when the locking actuator is in a locked position, wherein when a force is applied to the lever extension, the base component rotates about the axis.
Rack-mounted device and electronic apparatus
A rack-mounted device includes a case configured to include, in a width direction, a plurality of containment rooms each in which an electronic device is contained, a partition suspended from an upper wall of the case and configured to partition off the plurality of containment rooms adjacent to each other and guide the electronic device, and a support plate extending from a sidewall of the case into a containment room of the plurality of containment rooms and provided with a gap from a lower wall of the case to support the electronic device.
Top cover system for a computer chassis
A chassis for a computing device includes a base component and a top cover. The base component includes guide slots therein. The top cover includes stamped protrusions extending from one or more side slider structures. The slider structurers extend downwardly from a top surface of the top cover. The stamped protrusions are unitary one-piece structures with the one or more side slider structures. The stamped protrusions correspond to respective guide slots of the base component such that the stamped protrusions are positioned in corresponding guide slots when the base component and the top cover are in a mating position.
Limited blast radius storage server system
A device includes an interposer card that includes a processor, such as a system on a chip (SoC), and memory devices. The interposer card mounts to a mass storage device and has a shape that corresponds to a size of an end of the mass storage device to which the interposer card is mounted. The SoC of the interposer card is configured to implement an individual server for the mass storage device to which the interposer card is mounted. In some embodiments, a data storage system includes multiple mass storage devices mounted in a chassis and coupled to one or more backplanes, wherein interposer cards are connected between the mass storage devices and the one or more backplanes.
DEVICE FOR SUPPORTING EXPANSION CARD
A device comprises a riser board and a riser bracket. The riser board has a connector that receives an expansion card. The riser bracket is coupled to the riser board, and includes a body portion and a latch. The body portion is coupled to the riser board such that the body portion is spaced apart from the riser board connector. The latch is rotatably coupled to the body portion, and rotates between a first position and a second position. When the latch is in the first position and the expansion card is received by the riser board connector, the expansion card is removable from the riser board connector. When the latch is in the second position and the expansion card is received by the riser board connector, the latch engages the expansion card such that the expansion card is not removable from the riser board connector.
Circuit board bypass assemblies and components therefor
A connector for use in a free-standing connector port for mating with an external pluggable module is disclosed. The connector has terminals that extend lengthwise of the connector so that cables may be terminated to the terminals and the terminals and cable generally are horizontally aligned together. The connector defines a card-receiving slot and is position in a cage that defines the connector port. The cables exit from the rear of the connector and from the connector port. The connector includes a heat sink that is configured to cool a module inserted into the connector port.
DATA CENTER SECURITY SYSTEMS AND DEVICES
Embodiments of the present invention are directed to systems, devices, lockable enclosures, and methods for data centers. In one example, a lockable enclosure for a data drive is provided. The lockable enclosure includes a housing configured to retain a first data drive and a latch contained within the housing and configured to receive a second data drive, wherein the latch is configured to move within the housing for dispensing the first data drive from the housing while the second data drive remains secured therein.
Cabinet solution for outdoor electronic device storage and retrieval
A cabinet solution is provided for outdoor electronic device storage and retrieval especially configured for ease access during inclement weather. In one embodiment, the cabinet solution is comprised of a specially designed secure cabinet and a top access weather protected portable device designed to operate as a data center in a box. The secure cabinet is configured to hold a number of top access weather protected portable devices configured in the same or different configurations depending on the application. The portable devices are mounted in an inclined shelf with a mechanism connected with the cabinet door opening that closes partially the top lid of the devices in such a way that prevent rain or snow to interfere with the functionality of the system while the door of the cabinet is open thus making it serviceable even on bad weather conditions.
Systems and methods for modular cabinet cable pass-through
Systems and methods for modular cabinet cable pass through are disclosed. A system may include a first lead modular plate having a U-shape and a first and a second follower modular plate, each of the first and the second follower modular plates having a U-shape and having a first follower modular plate leg and a second follower modular plate leg and a second plate portion therebetween, the second follower modular plate leg being longer than the first follower modular plates leg, and a bottom plate that receives at least a portion of the first lead modular plate, and the second follower modular plate legs of the first and the second follower modular plates. At least one cable may pass between an opening defined by the bottom plate and one of the first follower plate and the second follower plate.
