The electrical cables are configured to have reciprocal connectors connectable to compatible client electrical connectors on client electrical cables in the client cabinet, thereby the central patch panels in the central cabinet are a pre-assembled unit for installation at a client site and for connecting client cabinets thereto.

System for securing a computing system in a host infrastructure

Examples described herein relate to a securing sub-system. The securing sub-system includes a lever and a cam assembly engaged with the lever. The cam assembly is movable due to a pivotal movement of the lever and includes a cam body, a cantilevered arm, and a load support member. The cantilevered arm extends from the cam body and is deformable when the cantilevered arm contacts a restrictive structure. The load support member disposed on the insertion cam. A portion of the load support member is offset from an open end of the cantilevered arm to limit deformation of the cantilevered arm. Further, some examples described herein relate to a securing system including a plurality of securing sub-systems coupled via a synchronous movement link is also presented. Moreover, certain examples described herein relate to a computing system including at least one such securing sub-system.

RACK INSTALLATION SUPPORT

A rack installation support configured to be releasably cantilever-mounted to a vertical rack rail of a rack. A proximal end of a body of the rack installation support comprises an attachment portion configured to be cantilever-mounted to the vertical rack rail in use. The distal end is configured to be a free end that extends into a void space of the rack and the body has an upper support surface for supporting an electronics equipment module. A retaining mechanism is provided for releasably retaining the attachment portion in contact with the rack rail.

Thermally insulated, rigid cabinet

Provided is a cabinet, which comprises a top cover, four tri-layer side walls and a tri-layer base. The top cover, the four tri-layer side walls and the tri-layer base are connected with and fixed to one another by aluminum extrusion fixing assemblies. The tri-layer structure includes an inner honeycomb panel, a middle strengthening assembly and an outer wall panel. The middle strengthening assembly is formed by a plurality of horizontal tension rods and a plurality of vertical tension rods intersecting. The inner honeycomb panel has a hexagonal-celled hollow geometric structure, which confers the panel with such properties as high pressure-endurable strength, light weight, excellent rigidity and high structural stability. In addition, the hexagonal hollow cells can also make the honeycomb panel capable of better thermal insulation by preventing the air flow.

MODULAR THERMAL ISOLATION BARRIER FOR DATA PROCESSING EQUIPMENT STRUCTURE

An edge seal for a modular thermal isolation barrier for preventing passage of air through a gap in a data processing equipment arrangement includes a seal portion and a base portion. The seal portion is formed of a resilient material capable of deflection by a rigid adjacent structure. The base portion is formed of a rigid material and includes a pair of side channels opening at opposite sides thereof and a panel-receiving end channel. Each of the pair of side channels includes a first distal flange arranged to extend inwardly from one side of the respective channel and a second distal flange arranged to extend inwardly, and toward the first distal flange, from the other side of the respective channel, whereby each side channel is generally C-shaped and includes a channel opening having a width that is narrower than a width of a channel interior. Each of the seal portion and the base portion has a generally uniform cross-sectional shape.

ACCESSORY POSITIONING SYSTEM FOR CABLE MANAGER

An accessory positioning system for a cable manager includes a spine member, a first lateral member, an accessory rod, and a first cable management accessory. The spine member has an extruded construction and defines an x-axis of a three-dimensional cable management space. The first lateral member has an extruded construction and defines a y-axis of the three-dimensional cable management space. The spine member is slidably paired with the first lateral member to facilitate infinite adjustability of a location of the spine member along the x-axis of the three-dimensional cable management space within a range defined by a length of the first lateral member. The accessory rod has an extruded construction and define a z-axis of the three-dimensional cable management space. The accessory rod protrudes from the spine member and is slidably paired therewith to facilitate infinite adjustability of a location of the accessory rod along the y-axis of the three-dimensional cable management space within a range defined by a length of the spine member. The first cable management accessory is slidably paired with the accessory rod to facilitate infinite adjustability of a location of the first cable management accessory along the z-axis of the three-dimensional cable management space within a range defined by a length of the accessory rod.

STEPPED VENTING PANEL

A system chassis insertable in a rack is disclosed. The system chassis includes a first end panel. The first end panel includes a first base surface, a first component slot, a first plurality of venting apertures, and a first protrusion. The first base surface has a first portion and a second portion. The first component slot is formed on the first portion of the first base surface. The first component slot is configured to receive a first system component. The first plurality of venting apertures is formed on the first portion of the first base surface and surrounding the first component slot. The first protrusion extends from the second portion of the first base surface. The first protrusion includes a second plurality of venting apertures and a second component slot. The second component slot configured to receive a second system component.
