ELECTROMAGNETIC GASKETS FOR A CABLE CONNECTION
A gasket assembly structure including a frame which includes a front half and a back half joined together with a plurality of interlocking tabs located around a perimeter of the frame, defining a window, and an electromagnetic gasket, constrained between the front half and the back half of the frame; where the electromagnetic gasket lines an interior perimeter of the window and partially extends from the frame into the window, and a passageway through the window of the frame with boarders defined by the constrained electromagnetic gasket. A housing structure including a receptacle recessed within an opening on a front side of the housing, the receptacle is rigidly attached to the housing, and a gasket assembly recessed within the opening and located between the front side of the housing and the receptacle, where the gasket assembly is directly secured to the housing.
EMC-SHIELDING SEAL AND ELECTRICAL OR ELECTRONIC DEVICE COMPRISING A SEAL
A seal for an International Protection (IP)-sealing and electromagnetic capability (EMC)-shielding connection between a first housing component and a second housing component of an electrical or electronic device is disclosed. The seal includes an elastomer-containing sealing body and a metallic support that is embedded to some extent in the sealing body. The sealing body and the metallic support are connected to one another in an adhesive and/or form-fitting manner and thus form a material bond, and the metallic support has a plurality of contact segments, which project out of the sealing body and are configured such that the contact segments make electrical contact in resilient fashion with a first boundary surface that is assigned to the first housing component, and a second boundary surface that is assigned to the second housing component, the seal being pressed in between said boundary surfaces in an installed state.
Highly RFI shielded modular electronics packaging system
A modular system for containing electronic components has at least one storage bin and a plurality of Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) shielded electronics enclosures. Each RFI shielded electronics enclosure is at least one hollowed-out body; at least one hollowed-out cover, wherein the at least one hollowed-out cover is adapted to mate with the at least one hollowed-out body; and a plurality of fastening devices adapted to secure the at least one hollowed-out cover to the at least one hollowed-out body.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PREVENTING LEAKAGE OF ELECTROMAGNETIC WAVES FROM ELECTRONIC DEVICES
Systems and methods for preventing leakage of electromagnetic waves from electronic devices, or for preventing unwanted RF fields from entering an electronic device. According to an aspect, a system includes a body and a cover positioned to define an enclosed interior space for placement of an electronic device. The system also includes a gasket attached to or integrated one of the body and cover to seal the interior space from outside the electronic device enclosure. Further, the system includes an electromagnetic wave absorptive material attached to a portion of the gasket for absorbing electromagnetic waves generated within or outside of the electronic device enclosure.
Supply station with door shield
A door assembly is described. The door assembly includes a door structure that is mounted over an opening of an enclosure. The door structure includes a body that includes a first surface and a second surface opposite to the first surface. The first surface may face an inside of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. The door structure includes a number of finger bracket structures mounted on the first surface. Each one of the finger bracket structures includes a bracket and one or more finger gaskets coupled to the bracket. The finger gaskets of the finger bracket structures may contact enclosure brackets mounted around an edge of the opening of the enclosure when the door structure is closed. A combination of the finger gaskets in contact with enclosure brackets may create an electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield at the edge of the opening of the enclosure.
EMI shielding device
The invention relates to an EMI gasket for mounting on a wall of a housing of an electrical appliance. The gasket includes a plurality of elements arranged in a row wherein two adjacent elements are interconnected by connection pieces. At least one of the elements includes a clamping section for clamping the device onto the housing and a shielding section to perform the shielding function. According to the invention, at least one element further includes a snapping member which serves as a barb for latching into a recess within the wall of the housing where the gasket is to be installed such that the gasket is locked on the wall thereby preventing unintentional movement of the gasket or even that the gasket is slipping off of the housing.
Box-frame housing and a method of manufacture
A box-frame housing for the installation of electronic modules has frame elements and side walls and provides a subdivision into sub-regions, which are limited by dividing walls. The frame elements and the side walls and the dividing walls provide at least one recess and/or at least one edge projection. A projection engages in a recess and both are connected to one another by welding.
Transceiver Module
One example of a system includes a system board including first contacts, a cage attached to the system board over the first contacts, and a removable transceiver module including second contacts. The transceiver module is installable in the cage in response to a lateral movement of the transceiver module with respect to the cage to align the second contacts with the first contacts and a vertical movement of the transceiver module with respect to the cage to electrically connect the first contacts to the second contacts.
CLIP-TYPE CONTACTOR AND PROTECTIVE APPARATUS INCLUDING SAME
A clip-type contactor and a protective apparatus including the same are provided. A clip-type contactor according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a bent-shaped body having an elastic force and configured to come into electric contact with a conductor of an electronic device; an elastic restriction part configured to extend from an upper side of the bent-shaped body to a lower side of the bent-shaped body to restrict movement of the body; and a stacking means disposed at a lower portion of the body to be stacked in the same space as that of a functional element configured to protect a user or an inner circuit on a circuit board.
