A setup support device capable of editing a setup list in accordance with a change in a production schedule or the like, thereby enabling more efficient setup of a component mounter. The setup support device includes a list editing section for performing editing to increase or decrease production jobs included in a setup list in accordance with a request from an operator who performs setup at the component mounter or a change in a production schedule, and a guidance section for issuing setup guidance for the production jobs to the operator based on the edited setup list.

Electronic component supply system

Provided is an electronic component supply system determining the types of electronic components installed on component pallets at a time when the electronic components are installed on the component pallets for installation, which determines the types of the electronic components installed on the component pallets based on planned multiple jobs continuously performed by multiple electronic component mounting machines to which the component pallets are attached and an execution order for the jobs such that the number of the component pallets exchanged during job switching is minimized.

Component mounting system and component mounting method

A component mounter including a control device configured to perform communication control with component supply device, a control device including guidance control section configured to issue guidance of a mounting position of component supply device to which carrier tape should be inserted based on information of the component stored in the carrier tape, a check control section configured to determine whether the carrier tape has been correctly inserted to the mounting position as guided by guidance control section, based on a recognition signal of tape insertion recognition section configured to recognize insertion of the carrier tape into tape insertion opening, and a supply command sending section configured to send a component supply command to the feeder at the mounting position in a case in which it is determined that the carrier tape has been inserted to the mounting position as guided by guidance control section.

COORDINATE DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND COORDINATE DATA GENERATION METHOD

A coordinate data generation device is used in a component mounter configured to perform processing for mounting electronic components on boards of different dimensions by imaging the board that is controlled to be conveyed and stopped at a target position and performing the mounting of the electronic components after correcting for a deviation between a stopping position of the board identified from an image captured by the imaging and a target position, and specifies an imaging region for imaging the board stopped at the stopping position.

Method for populating printed circuit boards
10470348 · 2019-11-05 ·

Populating printed circuit boards with components on a pick-and-place variant set-up is provided. Each set-up includes a number of components, stocks of which are brought to setting-up tables on the pick-and-place line, and a set-up family is associated with each set-up, the family system, a fixed set-up and multiple printed circuit board types which can be populated using the set-up. The fixed set-up is optimized with respect to a weighted parameter, before determining, by means of a simulation, how well variant set-ups, with which the remaining components of predefined pick-and-place orders are associated, can be implemented on the setting-up tables and brought to the pick-and-place line. The quality of each different weighting is determined in order to determine an optimized weighting.

PRODUCTION PLAN CREATION SYSTEM AND PRODUCTION PLAN CREATION METHOD
20190313559 · 2019-10-10 · ·

A production plan creation computer, in a production plan creation process before starting production, creates or enters multiple production jobs required for producing the multiple types of component-mounted boards that are planned to be produced, and predicts or enters a production job that may become a jump-the-queue job to be produced unscheduled while one of the multiple production jobs is being produced. Next, the jump-the-queue job and the production jobs are grouped into multiple setup groups, with the jump-the-queue job being included in all the setup groups. Here, the jobs are grouped in each setup group such that it is possible to switch between the production jobs and the jump-the-queue job without performing changeover. The priorities of the jump-the-queue job and the production jobs are determined, and the feeder arrangement is optimized for each setup group based on the priorities of the jump-the-queue job and the production jobs.
