Wearable chemical dispenser

Wearable devices for dispensing insect repellents, fragrances, and/or other chemicals along the outside of the clothing of a human are disclosed. They are of the type that are clipped onto a belt or the like, and use a powered fan to dispense active. They are configured with fan rotor arrangements to minimize power use while still achieving acceptable air flow rates. These changes permit use of smaller batteries and more compact arrangements for battery positioning. This in turn permits a much more compact and lightweight construction to achieve the desired results. The devices are also provided with a rotatable clip structure to render use of the device more comfortable when the user is seated and to provide greater control over the direction of the dispensing. Further, they are provided with modified lids to facilitate active refill replacement.

PORTABLE MOSQUITO-CONTROL VOLATILIZATION APPARATUS
20240298630 · 2024-09-12 ·

A portable mosquito-control volatilization apparatus, including a box body having an opening, an adsorption structure arranged inside the box body and configured to adsorb a repellent, and a protective-cover structure detachably assembled at the opening to cover the adsorption structure and configured to leak or cover a volatile gas generated by the repellent. After the box body is arranged with the adsorption structure that adsorbs the repellent, the volatilization of the repellent can be achieved. At the same time, the protective-cover structure can cover the adsorption structure to prevent the adsorption structure from detaching from the box body, without the need to paint the repellent on the skin, effectively avoiding a contact between the repellent and the user's skin, thereby avoiding the sticky discomfort, safety hazard, and quick volatilization leading to waste all caused by the direct contact between the repellent and the skin.

VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER WITH INCREASED MEMBRANE EXPOSURE AND VOLATILE COMPOSITION WEIGHT LOSS

A volatile composition dispenser includes a housing having an aperture and having opposing first and second walls that are joined along their peripheries to one another, where said second wall has a plurality of apertures; a volatile composition cartridge disposed within the housing between said first and second walls; and a gap, which exists between said volatile composition cartridge and a bottom surface of the housing, wherein said bottom surface is formed from a base portion of one or both of the first and second walls. Upon activation, the exposure percentage is greater than 40%.

RESIN COMPOSITION INCLUDING INSECTICIDAL COMPONENT

The present invention provides: a resin composition which includes a polyethylene resin, and 5-chloro-4-ethyl-6-[2-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)ethylamino]pyrimidine; an insect pest control material obtained by causing the 5-chloro-4-ethyl-6-[2-(4-trifluoromethylphenyl)ethylamino]pyrimidine to be held on the polyethylene resin; and a pest control method provided with a step in which the insect pest control material is placed in the habitat of a pest.

AROMATHERAPY DEVICE

An aromatherapy device may define a plurality of wells arranged in an array to be filled with fluid as scented pairs such that two adjacent wells may be positioned beneath nostrils of a user while resting a portion of the device against the upper lip. The wells may be formed in respective cylinders positioned between the portion of the device that is designed to rest against the lip. There may be a plurality of wells that face a first direction and that face an opposite second direction. The wells may be similar shaped and sized so as to receive similarly viscous fluids therein having different scents associate therewith. The viscosity of the fluids should be high enough to resist the pull of gravity and preclude the fluid from flowing out of the well when the device is positioned upside down and some of the wells are, at least temporarily, downwardly facing.

DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING INSECTS

Devices and methods for controlling insects are generally described. Typically, the devices include a fiber web comprising a plurality of glass fibers or other substrate made of non-absorptive material impregnated or otherwise loaded with an insect control composition comprising an active insecticidal species (e.g., a pyrethroid such as Transfluthrin). The devices provide protection against arthropods or other insects over prolonged periods of time. Such devices may be lightweight, low-cost, reusable, and disposable, and can be used for both indoor and outdoor purposes.

VOLATILE SUBSTANCE EVAPORATION ELEMENT

A volatile substance evaporation element including a rod impregnated with volatile substances, the rod being made of sintered wood. The porosity of the rod varies between its core and its surface, the porosity of said rod being lower on its surface than in its core, making it possible to increase the capacity of the core of the evaporation element to act as a receptacle for volatile substances.

COMPOSITIONS, DEVICES AND METHODS FOR CONTROL OF PESTS USING VAPOR ACTIVITY

Devices and methods for the control of pests using the vapors of a pesticidal and/or pest control composition are disclosed. Compositions, devices and methods for the selective control of pests while not harming one or more beneficial insects are also disclosed. In some embodiments, the pests are bed bugs, fleas, lice, ticks, or the like. In some embodiments, the pests are varroa mites and the beneficial insects are honey bees.

ENCLOSURE FOR POROUS MEMBERS IMPREGNATED WITH VOLATILE SUBSTANCE

An enclosure for porous members impregnated with volatile substances, such as odor-destroying, air-perfuming, or insect-destroying substances, which may be opened to the extent desired through the use of a slider controlled by the user, to permit the controlled exposure of said porous member to the ambient.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL STRUCTURE CONTAINING VOLATILE CHEMICAL

A three-dimensional structure is provided which is obtained by molding a volatile chemical-containing resin composition into a plate form, wherein the three-dimensional structure includes through-holes penetrating therethrough from the front to the back thereof, the through-holes have peripheries having a shape selected from polygonal, circular, circular arc and spiral shapes when the three-dimensional structure is viewed from the front, and the peripheries of the through-holes are formed on a single plane or on a smoothly curved imaginary surface.
