THERMAL FOGGER METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR CREATING STABLE AEROSOLS
An improved process for applying herbicides, insecticides and the like, as an aerosol or vapor using a thermal fogging apparatus. Particular methods can be performed through use of a programmable logic controller (PLC) that receives data and controls the main components of a thermal fogger system.
Forced air pesticide vaporizer
Disclosed is a chemical vaporizer device for the purposes of vaporizing and controllably dispensing a pesticide material into a bee hive to kill varroa mites and other predatory pests that threaten honey bees. The device comprises an elongated cylinder having a proximal and distal end, a compressed air inlet, air pressure controller and heating element. The distal end of the device comprises a diffuser outlet and a coiled heating element, which is adapted to rapidly vaporize granular pesticide material in the cylinder while the compressed air discharges the vapor in a constant manner and in higher busts on demand. The user supports the body of the device while controlling the outgoing vapor pesticide by modulating the compressed air controller, which actuates an air valve in the controller. Material is fed into the device proximal end, vaporized and forcibly discharged through the distal end and into a bee hive.
Method and device to evaporate active ingredients from a liquid solution
A method to evaporate active ingredients from a liquid solution, in which said liquid solution includes a solvent and at least one type of active ingredient, the method including dispensing in controlled time periods doses of said liquid solution on a liquid retaining support, where the solvent is evaporated from the support such that only the active ingredient remains on the support, and where the active ingredient is evaporated from the support after most of the solvent has evaporated.
Device for creating and distributing vaporized scent
A scent vaporizing and distribution device uses an electric heating element to rapidly vaporize a liquid scent material. An airflow generator is used to create a distribution airflow that distributes the vapor from the device. The airflow generator can be an electric-powered fan or a manually-powered pump or squeezable bladder. The liquid scent material can include a glycol or a water-glycol mixture. A scent material such as liquid or powdered deer urine or a pleasant scent that can be used as a room or automobile or room freshener is mixed with the liquid. The vapor generator can be removable and replaceable such that different scents can be used with a single airflow generator or an empty generator can be replaced.

DEVICE AND METHOD FOR DISPENSING AND/OR DIFFUSING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES, ESPECIALLY FOR DISPENSING AND/OR DIFFUSING FRAGRANCES AND/OR ACTIVE SUBSTANCES IN AIR CARE AND/OR PEST CONTROL
A device for dispensing and/or diffusing volatile substances has a storage tank for a substance to be released into the environment, an electric heating device, and a delivery engine coupled to the heating device. The delivery engine has a substance-receiving area which is in fluid communication with the substance received in the storage tank. The substance is conveyable from the substance-receiving area to a substance-discharging area of the delivery engine, at which the substance is discharged into an air stream to generate a substance air stream enriched with the substance. A controller actuates the electric heating device and/or an air flow generation device during operation of the device. The electric heating device forms a structural unit in the form of a pod heater and has at least the storage tank, the electric heating element and the delivery engine.
Removable assembly for a diffusing apparatus
A diffusing apparatus for diffusing a substance in the vapor state into the surrounding air, in particular to a removable assembly of the apparatus that includes a storage container including an orifice and containing a liquid substance selected from semiochemical molecules, pheromones, allomones, kairomones, synomones and fragrances of natural or synthetic origin, and an inner cellular retaining member housed at least in a mouth area of the storage container that is adjacent to the opening and set back from the opening is disclosed. The removable assembly of the apparatus may include a dispensing member including a porous body having an evaporation surface located outside the storage container. The substance may have a viscosity that varies according to temperature.
