A circuit board includes a protective film of such a type that a mating contact slides on the protective film and rides over a pad, and is prevented from deteriorating due to attachment and detachment. A circuit board 10 includes a plate-shaped base body 40, a pad 20 formed on a surface of the base body 40 and responsible for electrical contact with a mating contact, and a protective film 30 that spreads on the surface of the base body 40 in contact with an edge of the pad 20. The edge of the pad 20 and a portion, which contacts the edge of the pad 20, of the protective film 30 respectively have heights consecutive to each other. The pad 20 contacts, by causing the mating contact that has slid in a sliding direction in contact with the protective film 30 to ride over the pad 20, the mating contact that has ridden over the pad 20.

Angled circuit board connector

An angled circuit board connector includes a unitary connector block having first and second board-contacting faces. The first and second board-contacting faces are arranged relative to each other at an operative angle. The connector block includes a block body. The first and second board-contacting faces face outward from the block body. A first connector port is located on the first board-contacting face. A second connector port is located on the second board-contacting face. A connector trace extends through at least a portion of the block body between the first and second board-contacting faces. The connector trace electrically connects the first and second connector ports.

ELECTRONIC DEVICE

An electronic device includes a substrate, multiple side wires, and a protection structure. The substrate has a first main surface, a side surface, and a first multi-turning surface connected between the first main surface and the side surface. The first multi-turning surface includes multiple first turning surfaces with differing normal directions. The side wires are disposed on the substrate. Each of the side wires extends from the first main surface over the first multi-turning surface to the side surface. The protection structure is disposed on the substrate and includes a wire protection part covering the side wires. The wire protection part has a first thickness at the side surface, a second thickness at the first main surface, and a third thickness at at least one of the first turning surfaces. The first thickness is greater than the second thickness, and the second thickness is greater than the third thickness.

Display device

The disclosure provides a display device including a first substrate, a display region disposed above the first substrate; a second substrate; a sealant disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate and outside the display region; and, a plurality of spacers disposed within the sealant. In particular, the first substrate and the second substrate are bonded together via the sealant. Further, the first substrate has a side wall including a first cutting crack surface and a first median crack surface, wherein a roughness of the first cutting crack surface is different from that of the first median crack surface.

Tool for shaping contact tab interconnects at a circuit card edge

A tool is provided for shaping contact tab interconnects at a circuit card edge. The tool includes a base member with a slot to receive a circuit card edge. The slot is sized such that the edge of the circuit card is slidable lengthwise within the slot. The tool further includes shaping dowels disposed within the base member, including at least two shaping dowels that define a set of adjacent shaping dowels extending at an angle relative to each other. The set of adjacent shaping dowels are exposed, at least in part, within the slot so that with lengthwise sliding of the edge of the circuit card within the slot, the edge of the circuit card contacts and slides across the set of adjacent shaping dowels rounding off, at least in part, ends of the contact tab interconnects at the edge of the circuit card.

The flexible panel is disposed around the outer circumferential surface of the polyhedral drum. A top portion and a tail portion of the flexible panel may overlap each other on substantially the same flat surface portion of the polyhedral drum. The top portion and the tail portion correspond to respective ends of the flexible panel.
