VOLATILE MATERIAL DISPENSER
A volatile material dispenser includes a base that houses a printed circuit board. The volatile material dispenser also includes a stand assembly and a shroud. The stand assembly is coupled with the base. The stand assembly includes a platform, a stand that extends from the platform, and a manifold that extends from the stand. The manifold contains a circular piezoelectric element. The shroud is positioned on the base. The shroud defines a chimney that is centered along a longitudinal axis. The manifold includes an annular wall that extends from the manifold. A spring is disposed within the manifold and is coaxial with the annular wall. A top end of the spring is wrapped around the annular wall and a bottom end of the spring applies a force against the piezoelectric element.
REMOVABLE ASSEMBLY FOR A DIFFUSING APPARATUS
The invention relates to a diffusing apparatus for diffusing a substance in the vapor state into the surrounding air, and in particular to a removable assembly of said apparatus which includes a storage container (10, 110, 210) including an orifice (12) and containing a liquid substance selected from semiochemical molecules, pheromones, allomones, kairomones, synomones and fragrances of natural or synthetic origin, and an inner cellular retaining member housed at least in a mouth area of the storage container which is adjacent to the opening and set back from the opening. The removable assembly of the apparatus may include a dispensing member (30) including a porous body having an evaporation surface located outside the storage container. The substance may have a viscosity which varies according to temperature, the viscosity and the surface tension of the liquid substance being such that when the acceleration due to gravity is exerted from the opening toward the porous body, the substance does not flow through the porous body at an ambient temperature below a first temperature.
DEVICE FOR EVAPORATING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES
The device for evaporating volatile substances comprises a container (1) housing a liquid with the volatile substances, and wick (2) in contact with said liquid and extending outside said container (1), wherein the device also comprises a porous element (3) placed inside the container (1) that is impregnated with said liquid with the volatile substances.
The presence of the porous element inside the container permits to place the evaporation device according to the present invention in any suitable position, preventing the leakage of the liquid and still allowing its correct performance.
Volatile material dispenser
A volatile material dispenser includes a base that houses a printed circuit board, a stand assembly that is coupled with the base, the stand assembly including a platform, a stand that extends from the platform, and a manifold that extends from the stand, the manifold containing a circular piezoelectric element. The dispenser further includes a shroud that is coupled with the stand assembly and defines a chimney, and a refill comprising a wick, the refill being removably coupled with the manifold. The manifold includes a cylindrical wall that extends upward from the manifold, a spring is disposed within the manifold and is coaxial with the cylindrical wall, and a top end of the spring is wrapped around the cylindrical wall and a bottom end of the spring applies a force against the piezoelectric element.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ERADICATING ECTOPARASITES
The ectoparasite eradicating device is configured to eradicate lice and eggs by conveying and directing heated air to the base of the hair shaft where lice live and lay egg by connecting to a common commercially available blow dryer. The device includes a rotatable sleeve to facilitate maintenance of contact of the lower concave edge with the scalp over a range of movements of the blow dryer. A plate with a flow disrupting lip separates the hot air flow from the scalp to avoid burning, while ensuring effective treatment of the hair to the root at the edge of the plate.
DEVICE FOR CREATING AND DISTRIBUTING VAPORIZED SCENT
A scent vaporizing and distribution device uses an electric heating element to rapidly vaporize a liquid scent material. An airflow generator is used to create a distribution airflow that distributes the vapor from the device. The airflow generator can be an electric-powered fan or a manually-powered pump or squeezable bladder. The liquid scent material can include a glycol or a water-glycol mixture. A scent material such as liquid or powdered deer urine or a pleasant scent that can be used as a room or automobile or room freshener is mixed with the liquid. The vapor generator can be removable and replaceable such that different scents can be used with a single airflow generator or an empty generator can be replaced.
VAPOR DISPENSING APPARATUS HAVING A TUBULAR WICK SECTION WITH AN INTERNAL HEATING ELEMENT AND REFILLS THEREFOR
A vapor dispensing apparatus includes a housing configured to support a refill therein. The housing has a vent formed therein. The refill includes a bottle having a body defining an interior volume for storing a vaporizable liquid. A wick, configured to draw the vaporizable liquid out of the bottle, includes an inferior portion disposed in the interior volume and a superior portion extending from the inferior portion and terminating outside the bottle adjacent the vent. The wick is an elongated member having a hollow wick core formed in the superior portion to provide a tubular wick section. An electric warmer is supported in the housing and configured to couple with a power supply. The electric warmer includes a heating element received in the hollow wick core for warming the wick above an ambient temperature.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR EVAPORATING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES, ESPECIALLY PERFUMES AND/OR INSECTICIDES, AND HEATING BODY
Volatile substances are evaporated from a substance container via wick inserted into the container. A wick end region protrudes from the container. A heating device has a heating body with a wick recess, forming an air flow channel with an inlet and outlet opening. The wick end region can be received under air flow around it with a circumferential gap spacing from the wick recess wall region. A penetration depth of the wick end region into the wick recess is adjustable. The wick recess has a throttling segment with a reduced flow cross section, situated above the wick end region when the wick end region protrudes into the wick recess. The position of a free wick end is adjustable relative to the throttling segment to adjust the air mass flow through the wick recess and/or the flow velocity of the substance-laden substance air flow.
Electronic vapor dispenser for hunting
A hunting vaporizing device selectively receives a vaporizer housing that carries vaporizable liquid configured to be vaporized up on exposure to a vaporizing element such as a heating coil wherein the resulting vapor is distributed with air flow from an airflow generator. The vaporizer housing can be disposable and readily replaceable. The replaceable vaporizing housing allows the user replace an empty device, switch scents, or place the device in storage without the risk of spilling the liquid material. The connection between the vaporizer housing and the base is either used to deliver the electric signal to activate the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the vaporizer housing or, alternatively, the connection is used to selectively deliver the power for the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the base. The electrical connection is disposed within the dock that receives the vaporizer housing. The dock is recessed within the base such that a portion of the vaporizer housing is disposed within the base when the vaporizer housing is seated in the dock.
