WICKING DEVICE FOR EVAPORATION OF A FRAGRANCE WITH A WICK HOLDER
A device for the release, in particular for evaporation, of volatile substances such as fragrances or active substances, has a container for a substance to be released. At least one wick as a capillary element is in contact with the substance to be released and at least partially in the receptacle and has a substance release region. The wick, preferably its substance release region, is assigned a heating element, preferably an electrical heating element. The wick is assigned a squeezing device with a squeezing element, by which a squeezing region of the wick can be subjected to a squeezing force and/or can be compressed, in particular for a defined short period of time and/or temporarily. A defined amount of substance, in particular at least the substance collected in the squeezing region, can be conveyed with a boost in the direction of the substance release region.
Electronic Vapor Dispenser for Hunting
A hunting vaporizing device selectively receives a vaporizer housing that carries vaporizable liquid configured to be vaporized up on exposure to a vaporizing element such as a heating coil wherein the resulting vapor is distributed with air flow from an airflow generator. The vaporizer housing can be disposable and readily replaceable. The replaceable vaporizing housing allows the user replace an empty device, switch scents, or place the device in storage without the risk of spilling the liquid material. The connection between the vaporizer housing and the base is either used to deliver the electric signal to activate the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the vaporizer housing or, alternatively, the connection is used to selectively deliver the power for the vaporizing element from a power supply carried by the base. The electrical connection is disposed within the dock that receives the vaporizer housing. The dock is recessed within the base such that a portion of the vaporizer housing is disposed within the base when the vaporizer housing is seated in the dock.
INSECT REPELLANT DEVICE WITH SIMULATED FLAME
An insect repellant device including a repellant portion and a light portion with a simulated flame and constant light option.
VOLATILE COMPOSITION DISPENSER HAVING AN AIR PUMP AND A METHOD OF DELIVERING A VOLATILE COMPOSITION TO AN EVAPORATIVE SURFACE USING THE SAME
A volatile composition dispenser and a method of dispensing a volatile composition is provided. The volatile composition dispenser includes a reservoir for containing a volatile composition and a transport member having a first end portion and an opposing second end portion, and an evaporative surface. The first end portion of the transport member is in fluid communication with the reservoir and the second end portion of the transport member is in fluid communication with the evaporative surface. The volatile composition dispenser also includes an air pump in gaseous communication with the reservoir.
BASE CHAMBER AND COVER WITH DIFFUSER FOR REPELLENT REFILL USE IN A FAN
Embodiments described herein relate to a base chamber closed by a cover having a support that receives a liquid-repellent refill of any commercially available model, which separates the chamber at the bottom for accommodating the reservoir from the upper part for the wick which, duly heated by a PTC heating device, has the stream of air directed to the release windows where negative pressure conveys the repellent towards the blades of the fan. In further exemplary embodiments, the device aims to optimize steam releasing from the repellent contained in the refill into the chamber to the environment by way of a hose connected to a tube projecting from said chamber to an oblique support located at the front of the top finish of the column of the fan, where the negative pressure is more pronounced.
INSECTICIDE FUMIGATOR FOR LURING MOSQUITOS BY MEANS OF ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT EMITTING DIODE
An insecticide fumigator including a chemical cartridge mount on which a chemical cartridge is configured to be mounted, a heater disposed near the chemical cartridge mount and configured to heat the chemical cartridge such that an insecticide in the chemical cartridge is evaporated from a fumigation part of the chemical cartridge, a light source disposed near the fumigation part and configured to emit light having a first wavelength range to attract insects, and a housing provided with the chemical cartridge mount and receiving the heater and the light source, in which the light source includes a UV LED and a substrate on which the UV LED is mounted, and the housing has a light passage hole through which light emitted from the light source passes.
PORTABLE THERMAL INSECT REPELLENT SYSTEM
An evaporator is provided, for use with a wicked reservoir containing a volatile liquid. The reservoir has a plurality of guide members disposed symmetrically around the wick and extending beyond the height of the wick. The evaporator features a base containing a battery, and a removable cover containing a heater. Attachment of the cover to the base is necessary to establish an electrical connection between the battery and the heater. The guide members fit into recesses in the cover only when the heater and wick are properly aligned, and the heater cannot make electrical connection with the battery unless the guide members and wick are properly aligned with the recesses and heater, respectively.
ELECTRIC DEVICE FOR DISPENSING VOLATILE SUBSTANCES
An electric device for evaporating and dispensing volatile substances, such as perfumes and insecticides, using thermal energy, that includes a casing and a container of volatile substance detachably coupled with the casing, heating means arranged in the casing for heating the volatile substance, and control means for controlling the operation of the heating means in accordance with a heating program. The device further includes detection means suitable for detecting an intrinsic characteristic of the container and/or the volatile substance, for example, the color of a part of the container, the shape of a part of the container, the container material, or the volatile substance color. The control means execute a specific heating program for a detected intrinsic characteristic.
Packaged terminal climate unit for pest control
In certain embodiments, a packaged terminal device for killing pests in an affected area includes a housing configured to be positioned at least partially within an affected area, a fan positioned within the housing, and one or more heating elements positioned within the housing. The fan is operable to draw a flow of air from the affected area into the housing. The one or more heating elements are operable to generate heated air by transferring heat to the flow of air. The packaged terminal device further includes a control unit operable to control the operation of the one or more heating elements in order to cause the packaged terminal device to operate in either a first mode or a second mode. In the first mode, the operation of the one or more heating elements is controlled such that sufficient heated air is generated to heat at least a portion of the affected area to a temperature less than or equal to a first predefined temperature. In the second mode, the operation of the one or more heating elements is controlled such that sufficient heated air is generated to heat at least a portion of the affected area to a temperature greater than or equal to a second predefined temperature, the second predefined temperature being greater than the first predefined temperature.
