A Sensor Array

The present invention relates to a sensing device, a method of use of a sensing device and a method of manufacture of a sensing device. Embodiments are generally configured as sensor arrays for detecting a pressure change within an infusion line to pre-empt or detect line occlusions in the administration of medical infusions. Generally, embodiments comprise a support component having a support surface for mounting thereon one or more electrically connected switches, a length of expandable tubing for passing a fluid therethrough and are secured to the support surface and in physical contact with the electrically connected switches. The one or more electrically connected switches forms a sensor array adapted to sense expansion of the expandable tubing indicative of pressure changes resulting from line occlusions.

A bi-directional solid state switch includes: a first bus bar; a second bus bar; a first solid state switch implemented on a first printed circuit board (PCB), the first solid state switch including: a first control terminal; a first terminal electrically connected to the first bus bar; and a second terminal; and a second solid state switch implemented on a second PCB, the second solid state switch including: a second control terminal; a third terminal electrically connected to the second terminal of the first solid state switch; and a fourth terminal electrically connected to the second bus bar.

A filter module includes a first ground terminal, a second ground terminal, a low pass filter, and a second inductor. The low pass filter includes a first inductor provided in an input/output path of signal, a first capacitor provided in a first path connecting a first node and the first ground terminal, and a second capacitor provided in a second path connecting a second node and the second ground terminal. The second inductor is connected in series to the second capacitor in a path connecting the second capacitor and the second ground terminal. The first path and the second path are not connected to each other by any path except the one between the first node and the second node.

A waterproof button module includes a pressing element, a circuit board, an adhesive layer, and an elastic layer sequentially stacked. The adhesive layer is attached to the circuit board and the elastic layer. The adhesive layer includes a first opening, and the elastic layer includes a second opening. The first opening is aligned with the second opening and exposes a part of the rear surface of the circuit board. The adhesive layer has an annular zone adjacent to and surrounding the first opening. The annular zone directly contacts the circuit board. The waterproof button module further includes an electric-connection assembly and a switch. The electric-connection assembly is electrically connected to the circuit board, and passes through the first opening and the second opening. The switch is electrically connected to the circuit board, and has a button. In addition, an electronic device including the waterproof button module is disclosed.

The security element includes: a metal portion, called a dome; a conductive assembly including conductive tracks which are not connected to each other including an outer track and a central track, each having a conductive tab intended to connect them to the electronic card; and a non-conductive support having lumens via which the conductive tabs extend from the conductive tracks to the electronic card. The ends of the conductive tabs are intended to be in contact with the electronic card and do not extend beyond the non-conductive assembly such that the connections between the tracks and the electronic card are located under a lower face of the non-conductive assembly.

A microwave or radio frequency (RF) device includes stacked printed circuit boards (PCBs) mounted on a flexible PCB having at least one ground plane and a signal terminal. Each of the stacked PCBs includes through-holes the sidewalls of which are coated with a conductive material. Microwave components are mounted on the flexible PCB within the through-holes, such that signal terminals of the components bond to signal terminals of respective through-holes. A conductive cover is mounted on the PCBs such that the cover is in electrical contact with the ground plane of the flexible PCB through the conductive material, forming shielding cavities around the components. The flexible PCB is folded such that the cover of one PCB faces the cover of the second PCB. The flexible PCB includes striplines or microstrips that carry RF or microwave signals to the signal terminals.
