A light bulb is disclosed, and includes a screw shell defining a cavity, a screw shell insulator, and a driver board. The screw shell insulator defines a passageway that terminates in an aperture. The driver board includes a positive leg that projects from a proximal edge of the driver board, with a proximal end portion that protrudes outside of the aperture, and a negative leg that projects from the proximal edge of the driver board, with a proximal end portion that is electrically connected to the screw shell. The positive leg is configured to extend through the passageway to make electrical contact with a positive terminal of a light socket. Variants in which a base shell and the legs are configured for bayonet type, multifaceted reflector, and T8-like bases are also disclosed.

The infrared emitter is detachably disposed on a side of the circuit board and electrically connected to the circuit board, the infrared emitter comprises a mounting body and an emitting body. The mounting body wraps at least part of the emitting body, at least part of the mounting body is disposed in the positioning hole and fixed to the circuit board. The infrared receiver is detachably disposed on one side of the circuit board and electrically connected to the circuit board, to receive the reflection of the infrared light from the light emitter.

An electronic device having a display assembly is disclosed. Several layers may combine to form the display assembly. For example, the display assembly may include a touch sensitive layer (or touch detection layer), a display layer that present visual information, and a force sensitive layer (or force detection layer). The display layer may include a bend or curve that allows a portion of the display layer to bend around the force sensitive layer. Also, the connectors (that provide electrical and mechanical connections) may be positioned at different locations of the layers. For example, the display layer may include a connector on a first edge region, and the force sensitive layer may include a connector on a second edge region that is perpendicular, or at least substantially perpendicular, to the first edge region. By positioning the connectors on perpendicular edge regions, the display assembly may reduce its footprint.

Methods include forming a connection between a first electrical component of the electrical assembly and a second electrical component of the electrical assembly by causing heating of an additive manufacturing material by applying light from a laser. The connection may be at least one of: i) an electrical connection; ii) a structural connection; iii) an electrical insulation.

The present disclosure is directed to an electrochemical cell connector for electrically connecting a plurality of electrochemical cells, and to battery packs including the electrochemical cell connector. The electrochemical cell connectors of the present disclosure are fabricated from a flexible circuit. The flexible circuit includes conductors, such as nickel conductors, soldered or otherwise attached thereto via holes or openings in the flexible circuit. These conductors may be welded or otherwise attached to an electrochemical cell, and the electrochemical cell connections made on the flexible circuit. In many embodiments, the conductors may be attached to the flexible circuit using industry standard automated assembly equipment thus streamlining the manufacturing process and improving overall quality of the product.

In a hollow part of a hollow cylinder shaped external electrode terminal, a part of the other open end side of the main body part of the cylindrical contact member is inserted from an open end of the external electrode terminal. The other end of the external electrode terminal is separated into branches by cuts inserted in a through-hole insertion part. A column surface of the outside of the branches of the external electrode terminal has an arc shape. Pressure in a direction from inside the external electrode terminal toward the outside is applied to the branches of the through-hole insertion part by an auxiliary wedge. With such a configuration, assembly defects accompanying connection of the external electrode terminal and other members may be eliminated.

A biocompatible electrical connection includes a substrate; a ferrule having a concentric flange at a first end of the ferrule; a first adhesive; and a second adhesive. The first adhesive adheres a first surface of the concentric flange of the ferrule to a surface of the substrate. The second adhesive fills an annular space between a hole in the substrate and the ferrule. The first adhesive or the second adhesive forms a conductive path on the surface of the substrate between the ferrule and a circuit pattern on the substrate.
