Conductive Terminal
A conductive terminal comprises a pair of abutting plate-shaped body parts having a front side and a rear side opposite to each other in a thickness direction thereof, and a left side and a right side opposite to each other in a width direction thereof. An insertion part extends from one of the two body parts. The terminal further includes a pair of first supporting wings arranged on the front side and the rear side of the body parts and aligned with each other at edges of the left side of the two body parts, respectively, and a pair of second supporting wings arranged on the front side and the rear side of the two body parts and aligned with each other at edges of the right side of the two body parts, respectively.
SOLDER COATED RIVET ELECTRICAL CONNECTOR
An electrical device includes a flat electrical conductor defining an aperture and an electrically conductive rivet with a body having a layer of a solder composition disposed on a first side and a tubular shaft extending from a second side of the body opposite the first side. A free end of the tubular shaft is flared such that the free end has a diameter larger than a diameter of the aperture.
Interposer
An interposer includes a housing having a plurality of through-holes penetrating a first surface and a second surface and a signal contact pair composed of a pair of signal contacts. Each of the signal contacts includes a base portion press-fitted in one of the through-holes, a first contact beam extending from the base portion beyond the first surface, and a second contact beam extending from the base portion beyond the second surface. The pair of signal contacts are positioned adjacently to each other widthwise and are each asymmetrical with respect to a width direction. A first minimum spacing between the first contact beams of the pair of signal contacts is narrower than a second minimum spacing between the base portions of the pair of signal contacts. The signal contact pair has a plane-symmetrical shape with respect to the width direction.
Electrical connector and circuit board used in the connector
An electrical connector includes a terminal module having a circuit board having first through eighth conductive traces sequentially arranged in a transverse direction and corresponding first through eighth terminals, the third terminal and the sixth terminal being configured for transmitting a pair of differential signals, the fourth terminal and the fifth terminal being configured for transmitting another pair of differential signals, the first through eighth conductive traces being respectively electrically connected to corresponding first through eighth terminals, each of the third conductive trace and the fifth conductive trace including a coupling portion, a size of the coupling portion in the transverse direction is larger than a size of the other part of the corresponding conductive trace in the transverse direction, wherein the coupling portion of the third conductive trace and the coupling portion of the fifth conductive trace overlap in an up and down direction to increase mutual coupling.
ELECTRICAL ASSEMBLY WITH A TEMPERATURE MONITORING DEVICE
An electrical assembly includes a support element which has a body and a surface formed on the body, an electrical functional element arranged on the support element, and a temperature monitoring device arranged on the support element for monitoring a temperature on the electrical functional element. The temperature monitoring device includes a temperature sensor arranged on the surface of the support element, a physical contact element arranged on the surface of the support element, and at least one heat-conducting device embedded in the body of the support element. The at least one heat-conducting device extends at least in sections below the temperature sensor in the body and is thermally connected to the physical contact element via at least one through-connection. The physical contact element is thermally coupled to a coupling surface operatively connected to the electrical functional element.
ELECTRONIC MODULE FOR MEDICAL DEVICE
An electronic module for a medical device such as an inhaler is disclosed, the electronic module comprising a printed circuit board, and a damper configured to dampen energy transfer to and/or from a battery when a battery is connected to the electronic module and the electronic module is exposed to mechanical shock.
Preformed solder-in-pin system
A method for inserting preformed solder members into connector pins for use with electrical connectors. The method generally includes a connector pin having an open cavity at one end, into which a preformed solder member can be first inserted and then pressed, rather than melted, in place, such that voids and air spaces within the cavity are substantially eliminated. The method allows for inserting solder members in high quantities, where the preformed solder members are placed in a fixture and the fixture is placed on a shaker table, so that solder members can be inserted into large numbers of connector pins that are pre-installed in connector grommets, largely simultaneously.
HEATED PRESS-FIT CONNECTION
A press-fit insertion method is provided. The press-fit insertion method includes loading press-fit pins into a connector, heating a printed circuit board (PCB) defining plated through holes (PTHs) into which the press-fit pins are insertable and pressing the connector onto the PCB to insert the press-fit pins into the PTHs with the PCB remaining heated.
Press-fit insertion method
A press-fit insertion method is provided. The press-fit insertion method includes loading press-fit pins into a connector, heating a printed circuit board (PCB) defining plated through holes (PTHs) into which the press-fit pins are insertable and pressing the connector onto the PCB to insert the press-fit pins into the PTHs with the PCB remaining heated.
Method for producing a connection contact
A method for producing a connection contact for a sensor or an actuator of a vehicle, the method including: providing a printed circuit board having at least one electronic component arranged thereon and having an opening; inserting a contact bushing into the opening; and combined soldering the at least one component to the printed circuit board and the contact bushing to the printed circuit board in one task. Also described are a related circuit board and a vehicle control unit.
