The carrier includes a housing having a lid preferably hinged to a base member, a vaccine storage member disposed within the housing and defining a storage space for a plurality of vaccine containers; and a cooling element disposed within the housing. The vaccine storage member further includes an inner container defining the storage space and having an inlet opening for placing and removing vaccine containers, a movable vaccine container holder and a cover member disposed on the lid. The vaccine container holder has an abutment portion abutting against an outer portion of the inner container so that the inlet opening is covered by the vaccine container holder and at least a part of the cover member protrudes into the storage space when the lid is in a closed position.
PACKAGING SYSTEM FOR A MEDICAL PRODUCT
A packaging system includes a holder and an inner container. The holder includes a top portion and a bottom portion that cooperate to form a cavity configured to receive one or more medical products therein and to retain the one or more medical products therein. The inner container defines an interior region configured to receive the holder therein. The holder includes sidewalls that form the cavity, and the sidewalls include channels configured to fluidly connect the cavity to the interior region of the inner container.
Container system for transport of biological material, uses thereof and methods of packaging
The invention relates to a container system for transport of biological material comprising a container casing and an insulating device, wherein the container casing defines a container interior space for accommodation of the insulating device and for accommodation of biological material to be transported, and wherein the insulating device is constituted of at least two insulating portions, which are formed so as to surround the biological material inside the container interior space. The invention further relates to uses of such a container system for packaging and transport of biological material, as well as methods of packaging biological material for transport.
PACKAGING FOR WET TISSUE STORAGE
A packaging system is provided. The packaging system may include a packaging body defining a cavity. The packaging system may also include a tissue cradle configured to be disposed within the cavity. The packaging system may also include a seal configured to be joined to the packaging body to fluidly seal the cavity. Such packaging systems may be used in the storage of wet-preserved or dry-preserved human or animal tissue. Also provided are a packaged tissue specimen and a method for packaging tissue.
Set for transporting culture container and unit for transporting cell or biological tissue
A culture container transportation set suitable for cultured state-maintaining transportation is provided. A culture container transportation set A1 includes: a culture container 13 including a vessel 13 made up of a bottom wall 11 and a tubular side wall 12 rising from the bottom wall 11; a flexible cover 2 covering an upper edge portion 121 of the side wall 12; a hard pressing member 3 provided on the cover 2; a cushioning material 4 of shape restorability; and a housing container 6 that houses the culture container 1, the cover 2, the pressing member 3 and the cushioning material 4 in an assembled state in which these components are stacked while pressing these components from above and below. The cushioning material 4 is provided between the housing container 6 and the culture container 1 or between the pressing member 3 and the housing container 6.
Vivo Organ Transfer Device
The invention discloses an in vivo organ transfer device, which comprises an organ fixing bag and an organ bag push assembly, wherein the organ fixing bag is composed of an inner bag and an outer bag, the outer bag is provided with an ice water filling hole and a link rod fixing interfaces, multiple groups of link rod fixing interfaces are arranged on both sides of the outer bag, and the inner layer bag is provided with an organ inlet, an input conduit opening and an output conduit opening. The invention belongs to the technical field of in vivo organ transfer, in particular relates to an in vivo organ transfer device that can provide good temperature conditions in the organ implantation process and it can fix the transplant in the reconstruction process to make the transplant in the optimum location and angle most conducive to the conduit suturing, creating favorable conditions for minimally invasive organ transplantation.
ACTIVE BIOLOGICAL SAMPLE PROCESSING AND THERMAL MANAGEMENT DEVICES
Embodiments for a portable and compact centrifugation and thermal management system capable of separating and transporting biological samples while maintaining sample quality for periods of shipment time are described. A compact, automatic centrifuge holding exactly one sample tube is inside an insulating and thermally managed container suitable for standard shipping. A rotor to retain a sample tube is pre-balanced. An electronic controller starts, times and stops centrifugation automatically, responsive to placement of a lid. Thermal management may comprise a phase change material. Embodiments are free of user controls. Embodiments are free of the need for external power or external control.
Medical device for preservation of a corneal tissue, comprising an applanation lid, and optionally a trepanation lid
The invention relates to a medical device for preservation of corneal tissue (3) that has been obtained beforehand by sampling, the device comprising a base (11), at least one side wall (12), and means for receiving and blocking the corneal tissue (3), characterized in that the device additionally comprises an applanation lid (13) for covering an opening of the device opposite the transparent base (11), the applanation lid (13) comprising: a transparent window (131), and a support (132) between the window (131) and the side wall (12), the support (132) comprising means for moving the window (131) in translation with respect to the side wall (12) of the device.
ORGAN TRANSPORT CONTAINER WITH ANTIVIRAL THERAPY
A system for the hypothermic transport of biological samples, such as tissues, organs, or body fluids. The system includes an antimicrobial treatment mechanism to inactivate microbes flushed from the biological sample by preservation fluid flowed therethrough. The self-purging preservation apparatus is placed in an insulated transport container having a cooling medium. When assembled, the system allows for transport of biological samples for extended periods of time at a stable temperature while simultaneously treating microbial infections to prevent transmission between a donor and a recipient.
APPARATUS FOR TISSUE TRANSPORT AND PRESERVATION
Systems and methods of the invention generally relate to prolonging viability of bodily tissue, especially an organ such as a lung, by adjusting pressure as needed to maintain a constant pressure within the organ even during external pressure fluctuations due, for example, to transportation of the organ in an airplane. Gas passing into and out of the organ may be conditioned to prolong tissue viability.
