Method, treatment station and assembly for treating a planar material to be treated
In order to remove treatment liquid (21) from a planar material to be treated (10), which is transported in an assembly for the electrolytic or wet-chemical treatment of the material to be treated (10), or to promote the exchange of material on the surface of the material to be treated (10), a roll with a roll surface (4, 14) is provided. The roll surface (4, 14) is arranged relative to a transport path of the material to be treated (10) so that a gap (8, 18) remains between the roll surface (4, 14) and a useful region of the material to be treated (10) opposing the roll surface (4, 14), which extends over the useful region. The roll is driven rotatably so that at the gap (8, 18) a relative speed is produced between the roll surface (4, 14) and the material to be treated (10).
Solid ink mask removal process
A process and device for removing a solid ink mask printed onto a substrate is disclosed. The substrate is bent around a bar set perpendicular to the substrate, causing the mask to flake off the substrate. The process permits fast removal of solid ink masks.
Recyclable electronic device
An electronic device is described that is designed to be more easily recycled at its end of life while maintaining usability during its lifetime. The electronic device includes a first substrate, an encapsulation layer, and a set of electronics disposed there between. One or more delamination layers cover at least one side, preferably both sides, of the set of electronics to separate the set of electronics from at least one, preferably both, of the first substrate and the encapsulation layer. The set of electronics, covered by the one or more delamination layers, is encapsulated between the encapsulation layer and the first substrate. At least one of the delamination layers includes a set of passages filled with material of the encapsulation layer forming a set of interconnections between the encapsulation layer and the first substrate.
Adjustable height spray system for cleaner
A cleaning apparatus is configured to clean electronic substrates including printed circuit boards and semiconductor product assemblies. The cleaning apparatus includes at least one cleaning module configured to treat electronic substrates and a conveyor system configured to transport the electronic substrates through the at least one cleaning module. The at least one cleaning module includes a spray system having a manifold connected to a source of fluid and a plurality of spray bars fluidly coupled to the manifold, and an adjustable height spray system configured to move the manifold and the plurality of spray bars up and down with respect to the conveyor system.
TEST SYSTEM FOR IONIC CONTAMINATION
A snorkel for determining the presence of contaminants and electrical properties of a component on a PCB is provided. The snorkel includes a housing having a plurality of ribs that are each configured to move between a first position and a second position, a fluid inlet port, and a fluid outlet port. The snorkel also has a first flexible seal that defines a fluid boundary and a second flexible seal that defines a vacuum boundary. The fluid inlet/outlet ports define a fluid channel within the fluid boundary. The first flexible seal is within the vacuum boundary such that the fluid boundary is disposed within the vacuum boundary. The snorkel also has a plurality of electrical probes that can employ a four-point probe method where a tip of each electrical probe of the plurality of probes is disposed within the fluid channel.
