A display device includes a lower substrate, a plurality of pixels, an upper substrate, a light blocking member, first and second color filters, first and second color conversion patterns, and a light blocking pattern. The light blocking pattern is disposed between the first and second color conversion patterns, and includes a first portion and a second portion which overlaps the light blocking member. A shape the second portion is different from a shape of the first portion.

The present application describes a display panel having a plurality of subpixels. Each of the plurality of subpixels has a light blocking region and a light transmissive region surrounding the light blocking region. Each of the plurality of subpixels in the light blocking region includes a first base substrate and a second base substrate facing each other; a first light emitting element and a first reflective block on a side of the first base substrate proximal to the second base substrate; and a second reflective block on a side of the second base substrate proximal to the first base substrate. The first reflective block and the second reflective block are configured to reflect light emitted from the first light emitting element to the light transmissive region thereby displaying an image.

The display device includes a first substrate; a second substrate facing the first substrate; light-emitting elements disposed between the first and second substrates, the light-emitting elements forming first light-emitting areas; first light-transmitting members disposed between the second substrate and the light-emitting elements; and color filter members disposed between the second substrate and the first light-transmitting members, wherein the color filter members form first filtering pattern areas that selectively transmit light and overlap with the first light-emitting areas, wherein the first light-transmitting members overlap with the first light-emitting areas and the first filtering pattern areas and comprise light scatterers that scatter light, and a width of the first light-transmitting members is greater than a width of the first light-emitting areas and a width of the first filtering pattern areas.

An optical filter includes a substrate, a filter layer on the substrate and including color filters, and a light-converting layer over the filter layer and including light-converting portions respectively corresponding to the color filters. A low refractive index layer is between the filter layer and the light-converting layer and has a refractive index less than a refractive index of the light-converting layer. A first capping layer is between the low refractive index layer and the light-converting layer and has a refractive index ranging between the refractive index of the light-converting layer and the refractive index of the low refractive index layer.
