A process of forming an inspection pattern, in which a protective film unit is partially removed in a thickness direction, in a pad area portion of the protective film unit, which corresponds to a pad area of a display unit, may be performed, and then, a process of delaminating the pad area portion of the protective film unit may be performed. A process of checking whether the inspection pattern exists may be performed to check whether the delamination has succeeded, and, at the same time, a process of measuring distances from an alignment mark to each of a long side and a short side of the display unit may be performed.

A forming method for a silicon-based display panel includes providing a silicon substrate having a display region and a peripheral region surrounding the display region, providing a first set of photomasks corresponding to the display region, using the first set of photo masks in an exposure process of the display region, providing a second set of photomasks corresponding to the peripheral region, and using the second set of photomasks in an exposure process of the peripheral region. The exposure process of the display region and the exposure process of the peripheral region are different process steps. According to the forming method for the silicon-based display panel, splicing of pixel patterns in the display region is not carried out, so that the yield and the display effect are improved.

OLED display panel and manufacturing method thereof

An organic light emitting diode (OLED) display panel including a TFT substrate is provided. The TFT substrate is provided with an OLED device layer thereon, and the OLED device layer is provided with a TFE encapsulation layer thereon. Two ends of the TFT substrate is respectively provided with a first retaining wall, which is provided with a first organic adhesive layer thereon. A transverse dimension of the first organic adhesive layer is greater than that of the first retaining wall disposed thereunder. Thus, a portion connecting the first organic adhesive layer and the first retaining wall are formed into a concave wedge-shaped structure. The OLED device layer and the TFE encapsulation layer are located between the two first retaining walls and the two first organic adhesive layers disposed thereon. A side encapsulation structure adopted can improve ability of the sides of the OLED display panel to block water and oxygen.
