In some configurations, the OLEDs may be non-transparent. The device may also include one or more locally transparent regions, which, in combination with the non-transparent OLEDs, provides an overall device transparency of 5% or more.

A dual display housing information handling system and method comprising a first display screen side having a first portion of a display screen, a second display screen side, hinged to the first display screen side, having a second portion, and a second display screen side RGB detector to activate and the first display to test flash and a first display screen side RGB detector to activate and the second display to test flash. A controller to determine operating color temperature shift for comparison to detect burn-in differences from color temperature readings by the first display screen side RGB detector and the second display screen side RGB detector, and if a threshold difference detected, the controller implementing display color shift management to provide adjusted color mapping data to adjust at least one color component of the first or second display screen side to balance the operating color temperatures.

Display device

A display device includes a first display area including a plurality of first pixel areas, a second display area including a plurality of second pixel areas and a plurality of transmission areas, a plurality of pixels arranged in a matrix form in the first and second display areas, and a first signal line and a second signal line disposed to correspond to each pixel column in the plurality of pixels. In each pixel column, one of the first and second signal lines may extend over the first and second display areas, and a remaining one of the first and second signal lines may not be disposed in the second display area.

Foldable display apparatus

A foldable display apparatus may include a first display panel and a component. The first display panel may include a first section and a second section. The first section may include a first pixel set and a first transmission structure surrounded by the first pixel set. The second section may include a second pixel set, may include a second transmission structure surrounded by the second pixel set, and may rotate relative to the first display section about a folding axis. A distance from the folding axis to a center of the first transmission structure may be substantially equal to a distance from the folding axis to a center of the second transmission structure. The component may overlap the first transmission structure. The second transmission structure may overlap the first transmission structure and the component when the foldable display apparatus is in a folded state.

Computer having a remote second display

A personal computer provides a video signal to dual first and second displays, the second display remote from the computer receiving its video signal by telemetry instead of through a video cable. A video signal transmitter connects to the computer through a transmitter cable plugged into a computer display port. The cable from the second display that would otherwise be plugged into the computer video port is instead connected to a video signal receiver. The signal is then transmitted from the computer by the connected transmitter to the receiver connected to the second display. The second display may detachably mount to the back of the first display.
