Disclosed is a light emitting display device configured such that the construction of an electron blocking unit located adjacent to an emission layer is differently applied to subpixels having different turn-on voltages, thereby preventing current leakage and reducing power consumption, thereby improving efficiency and visual sensation of the display device.

The present disclosure provides a light-emitting apparatus including an insulating layer, a light-emitting element disposed on a main surface of the insulating layer, the light-emitting element containing a light-emitting material and having a resonator structure, and a lens disposed above the light-emitting element, a photoluminescence (PL) spectrum of the light-emitting material having a first peak with a wavelength .sub.PL in a visible light range, wherein the resonator structure satisfies Exp. where .sub.on is a resonance peak wavelength of an interference spectrum that reinforces light emitted in a direction perpendicular to the main surface and .sub.EL is a peak wavelength of electroluminescence radiated via the light extracting structure.

According to one embodiment, a display device includes first and second lower electrodes, a rib including first and second pixel apertures, a first organic layer, a second organic layer, a first upper electrode, a second upper electrode, and a partition including a lower portion and an upper portion. The partition includes first and second portions. A first height from an upper surface of the first lower electrode overlapping the first pixel aperture to an upper surface of the first portion is different from a second height from an upper surface of the second lower electrode overlapping the second pixel aperture to an upper surface of the second portion.
LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT, METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME, AND DISPLAY DEVICE
A light emitting element, display device, and method of manufacture of the same are disclosed. In one example, a light emitting element includes a lower layer/interlayer insulation layer; a light reflection layer formed on the lower layer/interlayer insulation layer; an upper layer/interlayer insulation layer; a first electrode formed on the upper layer/interlayer insulation layer; an insulation film formed at least on a region of the upper layer/interlayer insulation layer where the first electrode is not formed; an organic layer formed over the insulation film from above the first electrode, the organic layer having a light emitting layer including an organic light emitting material; and a second electrode formed on the organic layer. A groove is formed in a portion of the upper layer/interlayer insulation layer located in an edge region of the light emitting element, and an upper portion of the groove is closed with the insulation film.
PHOTOSENSOR AND SENSOR EMBEDDED DISPLAY PANEL AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
A sensor-embedded display panel includes a light emitting element on a substrate and including a light emitting layer, and a photosensor on the substrate and including a photosensitive layer extending at least partially in parallel with the light emitting layer along an in-plane direction of the substrate. The light emitting element and the photosensor include separate, respective portions of each of first and second common auxiliary layers each extending continuously as a single piece of material under and on, respectively, each of the light emitting layer and the photosensitive layer. The photosensitive layer may include a light absorbing semiconductor having a HOMO energy level having a difference of less than about 1.0 eV from a HOMO energy level of the first common auxiliary layer and a LUMO energy level having a difference of less than about 1.0 eV from a LUMO energy level of the second common auxiliary layer.

The present application provides a display panel and a mobile terminal, which can mix the same color light emitted by one of a plurality of light-emitting devices and another one of the plurality of light-emitting devices, thereby simultaneously improving light extraction efficiency and viewing angle characteristics of the display panel.

A light emitting element includes a first electrode, an organic layer formed on the first electrode and including a luminescent layer composed of an organic luminescent material and a second electrode formed on the organic layer, and further includes a light reflecting layer provided below the first electrode. Light emitted in the luminescent layer is resonated between the light reflecting layer and an interface of the second electrode and the organic layer, and a portion of the light is output from the second electrode.

In this manufacturing method, in a blue fluorescent light-emitting layer formation step, a blue fluorescent light-emitting layer is formed in both a subpixel and a subpixel; in a green fluorescent light-emitting layer formation step, a green fluorescent light-emitting layer is formed in both the subpixel and a subpixel; and in a red light-emitting layer formation step, a red light-emitting layer is formed in both the subpixel and a subpixel. The light-emitting layer includes an electron-transport material, a hole-transport material, and a light-emitting material. Furthermore, light emitted from the first light-emitting layer and light emitted from the third light-emitting layer have the same color and each have a longer wavelength than light emitted from the second light-emitting layer.
