The present invention provides an insulation sheet comprising insulating particles and a binder resin, wherein, for the entire cross-section of the sheet perpendicular to the in-plane direction, the insulation sheet contains 75 to 97% by area of the insulating particles, 3 to 25% by area of the binder resin, and 10% by area or less of the voids.

The present invention also provides a laminate sheet obtained by bonding a plurality of sheet materials with a resin composition layer interposed therebetween, wherein the resin composition layer comprises a polysulfone resin including a plurality of sulfonyl groups in the molecule and a polyamide resin, and the proportion of the polyamide resin is 1 to 45% by mass.

Cable component including a halogen-free flame retardant composition

Embodiments of a flame retardant composition are provided. The composition includes from 55% to 85% by weight of a blended matrix and from 15% to 45% by weight of a flame retardant package distributed within the blended matrix. The blended matrix includes a polyolefin component and a nitrogen-containing polymer component. In particular, the nitrogen-containing polymer component has a melting temperature of less than 240° C. The flame retardant package includes an acid source, a carbon source, a polyoxometalate ionic liquid, and a synergist. The flame retardant composition can be utilized in cables, such as fiber optic cables.

A structure for creating a sealed wire bundle includes a first adhesive material in the form of a circular or semi-circular shape. The first adhesive material has a first outer wall with first spoke arms extending inward from the first outer wall. The first adhesive material has a first viscosity. First wire receiving spaces are provided between the first spoke arms. Wires are positioned in the first wire receiving spaces. As heat is applied to the adhesive structure, the adhesive structure flows to fill voids between the plurality of wires to thereby seal the wires.

Magnet wire with corona resistant enamel insulation may include a conductor and a multi-layer insulation system formed around the conductor. The insulation system may include a basecoat formed from a first polymeric enamel insulation. The filler may include between 20 percent and 80 percent by weight of silica dioxide and between 20 and 80 percent by weight of titanium dioxide.
