Insulated wire
An insulated wire includes: a copper alloy conductor; and at least one resin layer directly or indirectly coated on an outer peripheral face of the copper alloy conductor, in which the copper alloy conductor has a composition where a total content of metal components selected from Al, Be, Cd, Mg, Pb, Ni, P, Sn, and Cr is from 0.1 to 2.0 ppm and content of copper is 99.96 mass % or higher, and has a specific texture where an average orientation density in an area where φ2=0 degrees, φ1=0 degrees, and Φ=from 0 degrees to 90 degrees is from 3.0 to less than 35.0, and a maximum orientation density in an area where φ2=35 degrees, φ1=from 45 degrees to 55 degrees, and Φ=from 65 degrees to 80 degrees is from 1.0 to less than 30.0.
Insulated wire
An insulated wire comprising a conductor and a bubble-containing insulating layer, directly or indirectly coating the outer periphery of the conductor and containing a thermosetting resin, wherein the bubbles in the bubble-containing insulating layer include flattened bubbles whose oblateness in the cross-section perpendicular to the longitudinal direction of the insulated wire (lateral length of the bubble cross-sectional shape/vertical length of the bubble cross-sectional shape) is 1.5 or more and 5.0 or less.

An insulated wire, containing a conductor and an insulating film provided in contact with the conductor, in which the insulating film provided in contact with the conductor contains a polyimide resin, and the polyimide resin contains a constituting unit (A) derived from 2,2-bis[4-(4-amininophenoxy)phenyl]propane and a constituting unit (B) derived from 9,9-bis(4-aminophenyl)fluorene as a diamine-derived constituting unit; the polyimide resin has an imide group concentration of 25.0% or less; and the ratio of the content of the constituting unit (B) occupied in the diamine-derived constituting unit in the polyimide resin is 1 to 40 mol %.
Connectors For High Density Neural Interfaces
The present disclosure relates to connectors for high density neural interfaces and methods of microfabricating the connectors. Particularly, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to a connector having a core and a supporting structure wrapped around at least a portion of the core. The supporting structure may have a first layer of a high temperature liquid crystal polymer, and the second layer of a low temperature liquid crystal polymer that is reflowed to attach the supporting structure to the core. Conductive traces are buried between the first layer and the second layer, and the conductive traces terminate at conductive contacts formed on a surface of the first layer. The connector may have a predetermined shape or profile, which facilitates alignment and insertion of the connector into a header of a neurostimulator.
FLAME RETARDANT PLOYMER COMPOSITION AND METHODS OF USE
A flame resistant polymer composition comprising a mineral blend melt-mixed into a polymer matrix is described. The mineral blend comprises an alkaline earth carbonate, kaolin, and magnesium hydroxide. The polymer matrix may comprise ethylene-vinyl acetate and polyethylene, and dicumyl peroxide may also be added. The flame resistant polymer composition shows a UL94 flammability rating of V-0 or V-1, without containing halogens or aluminum hydroxide. The flame resistant polymer composition may be suitable as a wire coating, or for passive fire resistance in vehicles and buildings.
MAGNET WIRE WITH CORONA RESISTANT POLYIMIDE INSULATION
Magnet wire with corona resistant enamel insulation may include a conductor and a multi-layer insulation system formed around the conductor. The insulation system may include a basecoat formed from a first polymeric enamel insulation. A midcoat formed from a second polymeric enamel insulation may be formed around the basecoat, and the second polymeric enamel insulation may include a filler dispersed in a base polyimide material. The filler may include between 20 percent and 80 percent by weight of silica dioxide and between 20 and 80 percent by weight of titanium dioxide. Additionally, the insulation system may include a topcoat formed from third polymeric enamel insulation formed around the midcoat.
Electrodeposition solution and method for producing conductor with insulating film using same
An electrodeposition dispersion of the present invention is formed of a dispersion medium and a solid content. The solid content includes polyimide-based resin particles and fluorine resin particles. Also, a content ratio of the fluorine resin particles in the solid content is 20 to 70% by mass. In addition, a median diameter of the polyimide-based resin particles is 50 to 400 nm.
Electric wire, cable harness and flying object
There is provided an electric wire having a conductor total cross-sectional area of 2 mm.sup.2 or less and high reliability. The electric wire includes: a twisted wire conductor (2) including a plurality of strand conductors (21 to 27) twisted together with each other and having a total cross-sectional area of the plurality of strand conductors of 2 mm.sup.2 or less; and a covering member (3) made from a resin material having a flexural modulus of 0.6 GPa or more and covering the twisted wire conductor so that an inner wall thereof is in contact with an outer peripheral surface of the twisted wire conductor, wherein the twisted wire conductor (2) has, on an outer peripheral surface thereof, recesses having a maximum depth of 5% or less of a maximum diameter of the twisted wire conductor in a cross section perpendicular to a length direction of the twisted wire conductor and containing boundaries of the plurality of strand conductors.

The insulating layer clads the copper conductor and has in sequence from inside to outside, a corona- resistant polyamideimide coating, a corona-resistant special resin coating, a corona-resistant polyimide coating, a corona-resistant modified silicone resin coating, and a corona-resistant polyamideimide coating.
