Versatile antenna wire and methods of manufacturing
In accordance with example embodiments of the present disclosure, the invention allows effective sending and receiving of radio signals commonly associated with those sent and received by antennas. The utility of the invention includes a versatile antenna wire comprised of an embedded formed electrical conductor within a protective, non-electrically conductive sheath or structural element that facilitates shorter-than-typical antenna designs. The versatile antenna wire can facilitate antenna radiators that are up to 80 percent shorter than traditional wire radiatorswhile still providing exceptional operating characteristics. In some embodiments, the antenna wire is a specifically contoured conductive material. Electrically conductive material may be wire; metalized tape; metalized foil; electrically conductive polymer; or conductive ink or coating.

A poly(siloxane-etherimide) composition comprising, based on the total weight of the composition, 70 to 90 wt % of a poly(siloxane-etherimide); and an additive comprising a polyester, a filler, or a combination thereof; wherein the filler comprises talc, calcium carbonate, or a combination comprising at least one of the foregoing; and wherein the composition has a number of drops to tracking at 250 volts of greater than or equal to 50 drops determined according to ASTM D-3638-85.
HIGH PERFORMANCE MULTILAYER INSULATION COMPOSITE FOR HIGH VOLTAGE APPLICATIONS
A thin micro-multilayer electrical insulator having a plurality of layers of polymeric materials is high performance and lightweight. The insulator provides a structured material with improved dielectric strength and partial corona discharge resistance that can be used in high voltage and high temperature applications. The durable insulator is well suited for use in insulating high voltage aircraft wiring and power transmission composites in hybrid and all electric airplanes. The insulator can have multiple layers of different polymeric materials such as fluorine-containing polymers and polyimides.
POLYESTER SINGLE LAYER FILM
A polyester single layer film according to an embodiment of the present invention has low haze and low oligomer characteristics, has a more bluish color coordinate, and has a low inorganic metal content. Accordingly, the polyester single layer film may be used as a base film of a heat-resistant protective film and a light-scattering preventive film, as well as an ITO and non-ITO base film (for Ag nanowire, or the like) used in recent touch panels. In addition, since the transmittance at a wavelength of 550 nm is relatively high due to less impurity, the polyester single layer film may be used as a base film of a prism for a backlight unit (BLU) and a diffusion sheet.

A wrap for bundling cable, comprising: a multilayer wrap that comprises: (a) an outermost layer comprising a first polymer textile; (b) an innermost layer comprising a second polymer textile; and (c) an adhesive layer between the outermost and innermost layers, wherein the first and second textiles differ from one another, wherein the multilayer wrap comprises an abrasion resistance that exceeds an abrasion resistance of the innermost and outermost layers alone, as measured under the ISO 6722 Standard, and further wherein the multilayer wrap comprises a damping resistance of at least class B, as measured under the LV 312 Standard.

A resin composition according to an embodiment of the present invention for a flat cable-reinforcing tape contains a polyester, a polyurethane, and a polycarbodiimide, in which the mass ratio of the polyurethane to the polyester is 40/60 or more and 80/20 or less. A flat cable-reinforcing tape according to an embodiment of the present invention includes a base layer containing a resin as a main component and an adhesive layer stacked on the base layer, the adhesive layer containing the resin composition. A flat cable according to an embodiment of the present invention includes one or a plurality of conductors, a pair of covering materials that hold the one or plurality of conductors therebetween, and the flat cable-reinforcing tape.
Polyol component for the production of PUR foams
A composition comprising (a1) a polyether polyol, (a2) a polyolefin polyol and (a3) a polyester polyol obtainable by epoxidation of an unsaturated fatty acid ester and subsequent ring-opening reaction with a compound containing active hydrogen, can be used for the preparation of PUR foam which distinguishes by low-temperature flexibility and low dielectric loss and is suitable for filling the gap between the condenser core and the outer composite or porcelain insulator in the manufacture of resin impregnated paper (RIP) bushings.
