INSULATED WIRE WITH BONDING LAYER
Provided is an insulated wire with bonding layer having a bonding layer with excellent adhesive strength on both an insulating coating layer and an adherend as an outer layer. An insulated wire 1 with bonding layer has a conductor 2, an insulating coating layer 3 covering an outer circumference of the conductor 2, and a bonding layer 4 provided on an outer side of the insulating coating layer and for bonding by heat, the bonding layer 4 containing (A) a modified polyolefin, and (B) one or more materials selected from a polyester resin and a polyester elastomer, and the bonding layer 4 containing 10 to 70 parts of the (B) component per 100 parts total of the (A) and (B) components.
COPOLYMER, MOLDED BODY, EXTRUDED BODY, BLOW MOLDED BODY, TRANSFER MOLDED BODY, AND COATED ELECTRICAL WIRE
There is provided a copolymer containing tetrafluoroethylene unit and perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit, wherein the copolymer has a content of perfluoro(propyl vinyl ether) unit of 3.5 to 4.2% by mass with respect to the whole of the monomer units, the melt flow rate at 372° C. of 34.0 to 42.0 g/10 min, and the number of functional groups of 50 or less per 10.sup.6 main-chain carbon atoms.
Covering material for electric wire and covered electric wire
A covering material for an electric wire contains a polyvinyl chloride. The covering material has a property of a change curve of loss modulus with respect to temperature which shows no peak within a temperature range in a usage environment for the electric wire.
METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL CABLE, AND RESULTING PRODUCT, WITH REDUCED REQUIRED INSTALLATION PULLING FORCE
Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.
REINFORCED ELECTRIC WIRE AND METHODS OF MAKING THE SAME
Aspects of the present invention relate to reinforced electric wires, particularly reinforced electric wires as used in holiday lighting such as Christmas light strings. In some embodiments, the reinforced electric wire can comprise a conductor, a reinforcing string or one or more reinforcing threads, and an insulator jacket. In some embodiments, the conductor comprises a plurality of conductor strands and one or more reinforcing strands arranged within an insulator jacket. Methods of making wires in accordance with various embodiments are also provided herein.
MULTIPLE CONDUITS BUNDLED TOGETHER IN A COMBINATION CONDUIT CONFIGURATION
Example embodiments provide a device that includes a main cable jacket including one or more sub-cable jackets, and each of the sub-cable jackets includes a number of conduits.
QUALITY CONTROL METHOD FOR DIISONONYL PHTHALATE, PRODUCING METHOD FOR RESIN COMPOSITION, RESIN COMPOSITION, AND CABLE OR TUBE
A quality control method for a diisononyl phthalate includes a measuring step of irradiating the diisononyl phthalate with a laser to measure a Raman spectrum; and an acceptance or rejection decision step of determining an acceptance or a rejection of a quality of the diisononyl phthalate on the basis of a high and low intensity relationship between an intensity of a first spectral peak, which is ascribed to a vibration of molecular chains in a straight chain hydrocarbon, and an intensity of a second spectral peak, which is ascribed to a vibration of isopropyl groups, in the measured Raman spectrum.

Reinforced electric wire and methods of making the same
The invention relates to reinforced electric wires, particularly reinforced electric wires as used in holiday lighting such as Christmas light strings. In some embodiments, the reinforced electric wire has a conductor, a reinforcing string or one or more reinforcing threads, and an insulator jacket. In some embodiments, the conductor has a single conductor strand. In some embodiments, the conductor has a plurality of conductor strands. In some embodiments, the wire has an insulator jacket having a plurality of channels therein, where a conductor is passed through the center channel, and reinforcing threads are passed through the other channels.
WIRE HARNESS AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness includes: an electrical wire including a core wire and an insulating covering for covering the core wire; and a sheet material in which the electrical wire is disposed on a resin main surface, and a part of the main surface having contact with the electrical wire is thermally processed with the insulating covering of the electrical wire, thereby forming an electrical wire fixing part. A part of the sheet material including the electrical wire fixing part is softer than the insulating covering.
