METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL CABLE, AND RESULTING PRODUCT, WITH REDUCED REQUIRED INSTALLATION PULLING FORCE
Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

The present disclosure provides an electric wire having excellent smoothness, appearance, and storage stability. The electric wire includes a core wire and a coating layer covering the core wire. The coating layer contains a fluorine-free resin and a fluorine-containing crystalline polymer. The fluorine-free resin includes at least one selected from the group consisting of polyamide resins, polyolefin resins, and polyvinyl chloride resin. The fluorine-containing crystalline polymer represents 0.5 to 4.0 mass % relative to the fluorine-free resin.
SINGLE-COMPONENT LOW HARDNESS CONDUCTIVE ADHESIVE AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE AND USE THEREOF
A single-component conductive adhesive with low hardness, and method of manufacture and use are provided. The conductive adhesive may include a resin composition, an organic solvent and nickel-coated graphite powder. The weight ratio of the resin composition to nickel-coated graphite powder may be 20%: 80% or 40%: 60%. The weight of the organic solvent may be 20-40% the weight of the resin composition. The resin composition may include 20-40% by weight of vinyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane (PDMS), 5-15% by weight of H-Si polysiloxane oil, 0.05-0.15% by weight of polymerization inhibitor, and 0.1-1% by weight of encapsulated platinum complex.
Lubricious Silicone Cable Jackets and Cable Assemblies Formed Therefrom
A silicone cable jacket and a cable assembly formed therefrom exhibits lubricious properties. The silicone cable jacket includes a silicone elastomer and a PSQ additive. The PSQ additive is selected as a polyalkylsilsesquioxane, a polyarylsilsesquioxane, a polyalkylaryl-silsesquioxane, or a mixture thereof. The silicone cable jacket exhibits a lower static and dynamic coefficient of friction (COF) as measured according to ASTM D 1894-14 and an enhanced level of abrasion resistance in a DIN 53516 test as compared to a similar cable jacket without the PSQ additive.

Provided are a flame-retardant and fire-resistant silicone tape and a preparation method thereof. The flame-retardant and fire-resistant silicone tape includes the following raw materials in parts by weight: 100 parts to 120 parts of a methyl vinyl silicone rubber, 60 parts to 70 parts of fumed silica, 3 parts to 7 parts of hydroxyl-terminated polydimethylsiloxane, 0.5 parts to 1 part of dioctyl acid phosphate, 2 parts to 6 parts of a vinyl hydroxyl silicone oil, 10 parts to 15 parts of a modified biomass charcoal powder, 0.2 parts to 0.4 parts of zinc stearate, and 5.5 parts to 6.5 parts of a vulcanizing agent.

Method for producing insulating composite material for silicone rubber socket and method for manufacturing silicone rubber socket including same
Proposed is a method for producing an insulating composite material for a silicone rubber socket, in which the method includes a step of producing a molded body of a mixture of liquid silicone and a heterogeneous composite powder composited from (i) metal powder and (ii) polymer or ceramic powder. An insulating composite material for a silicone rubber socket, produced by the method, is also proposed. Further proposed is a silicone rubber socket manufacturing method including the steps of producing a sheet-shaped molded body from a mixture including liquid silicone and a heterogeneous composite powder composited from (i) a metal powder and (ii) a polymer or ceramic powder and (b) forming a plurality of pores extending through the sheet-shaped molded body in a thickness direction and filling the pores with a conductive material. In addition, a silicone rubber socket manufactured by the method is also proposed.
