Termination arrangement for an overhead electrical cable including a tensile strain sheath
A termination arrangement for securing an overhead electrical cable and a method for securing an overhead electrical cable. The termination arrangement includes a longitudinally-extending sheath having a high tensile modulus that is configured to receive a strength member of the overhead electrical cable therein.
Method of Marking A Location of Interest on A Power Cable
A method of marking a location of interest on a power cable, including a) identifying a location of interest on a layer of the power cable in a process of manufacturing the power cable, and b) providing a marker at the location of interest, the marker being able to transmit radiation.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness that includes an electric wire; a metal braid that covers an outer periphery of the electric wire along a direction of extension of the electric wire; and a metal pipe penetrated both by the electric wire and the metal braid. In addition, a length of the metal braid in the direction of extension of the electric wire can be longer than a length of the metal pipe in the direction of extension of the electric wire.
AC submarine power cable with reduced losses
A static AC submarine power cable configured for at least 72 kV operation including: a power core including: a conductor, an insulation system surrounding the conductor, and a smooth metallic water-blocking sheath surrounding the insulation system, wherein the metallic water-blocking sheath includes stainless steel.
SUBMARINE DC POWER CABLE
A submarine DC power cable including: three stranded cores, wherein a first core and a second core of the three cores are DC power cores, each including a conductor, and an insulation system arranged around the conductor, and wherein a third core of the three cores is a dummy element having the same outer diameter as the first and the second cores, or the outer diameter of the third core deviates at most 10% from the outer diameter of any of the first and the second cores, and wherein the third core in cross-section has a structure that is circular symmetric and which differs from a cross-sectional structure of the first and the second cores.
Photoelectric Composite Flexible High-Voltage Reel Cable
A photoelectric composite flexible high-voltage reel cable, including a polyethylene outer sheath (1), a double-face plastic-coated steel belt (2) connected to an inner side of the polyethylene outer sheath (1), an insulating tape (3) connected to an inner side of the double-face plastic-coated steel belt (2), an anti-crack protective sleeve (4) connected to an inner side of the insulating tape (3), and a power cord body (6), a filler rope (7), a reinforcement (9) and an optical fiber body (8) sequentially distributed on an inner side of the anti-crack protective sleeve (4) from top to bottom, where the power cord body (6), the filler rope (7) and the optical fiber body (8) are distributed on a peripheral side of the reinforcement (9). The photoelectric composite flexible high-voltage reel cable further includes a metal radiating column (11), movable balls (13), a rubber air bag (14), and a conveying pipe (15).
