OPTICAL-ELECTRIC COMPOSITE CABLE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
An optical-electric composite cable includes a cable unit, at least one metal wire, and a sheath. The cable unit includes at least one optical fiber and a twisted pair wire twisted with the at least one optical fiber. The at least one metal wire is disposed around the cable unit. The sheath surrounds the cable unit and the at least one metal wire.
LCDI power cord system and method
A system and method for an LCDI power cord and associated circuits is provided. The system and method include energizing shielded neutral wires and shielded line wires and monitoring the energized shields for surges, e.g., arcing, detected by a Leakage Current Detection Circuit (LCDC) and/or voltage drops, e.g., shield breaks, detected by a Shield Integrity Circuit (SIC).
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness includes an electric wire, a braided conductor covering the electric wire, a grommet having a tubular insertion portion through which the electric wire and the braided conductor are inserted, a water stop sheet sandwiched between an inner peripheral surface of the insertion portion and the braided conductor, and a fixture attached to the insertion portion so as to reduce a diameter of the insertion portion. The water stop sheet includes a base material layer having a plurality of pores communicating with each other in a thickness direction of the water stop sheet and a sealing compound layer laminated on the base material layer. The sealing compound layer is deformed so as to enter gaps between thin conductor wires constituting the braided conductor and the pores of the base material layer.
LCDI power cord
A power cord with leakage current detection function includes an insulated neutral wire and aluminum foil wrapping or surrounding the neutral wire insulator. The neutral wire aluminum foil has a conductive side and a non-conductive side, wherein the non-conductive side is adjacent to the outside of the neutral wire insulator and the conductive side is facing outwards. The power cord also includes an insulated line wire surrounded by aluminum foil where the conductive side is facing outwards and in contact with the conductive side of the aluminum foil surround the neutral wire. The power cord also includes a copper braid surrounding an insulated ground wire, wherein the copper braid is in simultaneous electrical contact with the conductive sides of the line and neutral aluminum foil wraps.
HARNESS ASSEMBLY
A harness assembly may include a cable having a cable shielding around at least a portion of a plurality of wires, a connector with an integrated backshell arranged at an angle with respect to the cable, an external braid disposed around at least a portion of the backshell and the cable, and an overbraid around at least a portion of the external braid, the overbraid having two layers.
LCDI Power Cord System and Method

The system and method include energizing shielded neutral wires and shielded line wires and monitoring the energized shields for surges, e.g., arcing, detected by a Leakage Current Detection Circuit (LCDC) and/or voltage drops, e.g., shield breaks, detected by a Shield Integrity Circuit (SIC).
Skin-effect based heating cable, heating unit and method
The invention relates to the skin-effect based induction-resistive heating units and can be used in devices intended for prevention of paraffin-hydrate deposits formation in oil-and-gas wells and pipelines, as well as for warming up of viscous products in pipelines and vessels for the purpose of their transporting and pumping. The skin-effect based heating cable contains the center conductor, the inner insulation layer and the ferromagnetic outer conductor coaxially located around them. The invention enables to simplify using due to increase of the heating cable flexibility and due to reduce the energy consumption at its operation.
SYSTEMS AND DEVICES FOR AN RF SIGNAL CARRYING CABLE OF A MULTI-PACK LAUNCHER SYSTEM
Systems, devices, and methods including a launch control box; a multi-pack launcher (MPL) box; and a cable connecting the launch control box and the MPL box, where the cable comprises: an outer jacket, a shielded braid, a first wire, a second wire, a third wire, and a fourth wire, where the first wire and the second wire are shielded by the shielded braid, where the third wire and the fourth wire are outside of the shielded braid, and where the third wire and the fourth wire act as an antenna.
WIRE HARNESS
A wire harness including: a plurality of shielded conductive paths including a plurality of wire bundles composed of a plurality of wires, and a plurality of shields that are composed of braided wires in which electrically conductive wires are braided into tubular shapes, and that individually encase the plurality of wire bundles; and a connector into which the plurality of shielded conductive paths are inserted, the connector being configured to be attached to a housing of a device, wherein the shields include tubular bodies that encase the wire bundles, and separated portions that extend separated from the wire bundles at portions of the bodies on terminal end sides of the wire bundles with respect to the connector, and the separated portions of the plurality of shields are grouped together.
