Liquid Cooled Charging Cable System
A liquid cooled charging cable system may be provided. The liquid cooled charging cable system may comprise a source, a load, a liquid cooled charging cable, and a cooling device. The liquid cooled charging cable may connect the source to the load, and may supply electric energy from the source to the load. The liquid cooled charging cable may comprise a supply conductor and a return conductor. The cooling device may pump a coolant around the supply conductor and the return conductor where the supply conductor and the return conductor may be immersed in the coolant.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE CHARGING CABLE
The present invention relates to an electric vehicle charging cable capable of effectively cooling heat, which is generated therein during charging of an electric vehicle, using a cooling fluid, preventing damage to internal components thereof due to heat, and minimizing a diameter of the cable.
Cables Incorporating Asymmetrical Separators
Cables incorporating a separator positioned between two or more subcomponents are described. A separator may extend in a longitudinal direction and include a body portion having an asymmetrical cross-sectional. Additionally, an outer periphery of the body portion may define a plurality of longitudinally extending channels including a first channel having a first cross-sectional area and a second channel having a second cross-sectional area different than the first cross-sectional area. At least one cavity may optionally extend through the body portion along the longitudinal direction. A first cable subcomponent including first transmission media may be positioned within the first channel, and a second cable subcomponent including second transmission media may be positioned within the second channel. A jacket may be formed around the separator and the subcomponents.
CABLE HOSE WITH CONDUCTIVE ELECTROMAGNETIC INTERFERENCE SHIELD
A cable hose suitable for welding or cutting systems includes tubing, one or more conductors, and an annular electromagnetic interference (EMI) shield. The EMI shield is disposed radially interiorly of at least a portion of the tubing and radially exteriorly of the one or more conductors. Thus, the EMI shield: (1) prevents EMI emanating from the one or more conductors from exiting the cable hose radially; and (2) conducts current between components of a welding or cutting system.
Power supply cable and connector-equipped power supply cable
A power supply cable includes: an even number of electric wires that each includes a flexible cooling pipe, an electric conductor that surrounds the cooling pipe, and an insulator that surrounds the electric conductor; a filling disposed around the even number of electric wires; and a sheath that covers the even number of the electric wires and the filling. The electric conductor is a plurality of conductor wires wound around the cooling pipe.
Power supply cable and power supply cable with connector
A power supply cable includes: a first communication cord that includes a first signal line and a cover that accommodates the first signal line; a plurality of power lines each including a cooling tube, a conductor that surrounds the cooling tube, and an insulator that surrounds the conductor; and a sheath that accommodates the first communication cord and the plurality of power lines. In a cross-sectional view, the plurality of power lines surround the first communication cord.
MOTOR VEHICLE CHARGING CABLE
A motor vehicle charging cable for direct current charging of an electric energy storage device of a vehicle, having a cable jacket, a first electric conductor for a first direct current phase and a second electric conductor for a second direct current phase. The electric conductors are surrounded on the outside by the cable jacket. The electric conductors each have a conductor sheath including an outer and an inner sheathing layer. The electric conductors each have conductor cores extending within the conductor sheath and forming a conductor core strand. The electric conductors each have a first coolant duct for cooling the respective conductor core strand from the inside, which duct is surrounded by the respective conductor cores. The electric conductors furthermore each have a second coolant duct for cooling the respective conductor core strand from the outside. The second coolant duct encloses the respective conductor cores.
CABLE HOSE WITH EMBEDDED FEATURES
A cable hose suitable for welding or cutting systems includes one or more conductors and monolithic tubing that extends around and between the one or more conductors. The monolithic tubing defines one or more discrete passageways for the one or more conductors that provide a closed path from a first end of the cable hose to a second end of the cable hose for the one or more conductors. The monolithic tubing also defines an inner conduit configured to allow a gas to flow from the first end of the cable hose to the second end of the cable hose. The cable hose may be formed by arranging the one or more conductors in a specific configuration and overmolding an insulator onto the one or more conductors to secure the one or more conductors in a specific configuration.
POWER SUPPLY CABLE, AND CONNECTOR-EQUIPPED POWER SUPPLY CABLE
A power supply cable includes: a plurality of power lines each including a cooling pipe and a conductor that surrounds the cooling pipe. Two or more of the power lines have a same polarity. The cooling pipes of two or more power lines with the same polarity are connected to each other at a first end of the power supply cable. The power supply cable further includes a first communication cord including a first signal line and a coating that accommodates the first signal line.
