CARBON NANOTUBE BASED CABLING
Systems and methods presented herein provide reduced weight cabling using carbon nanotubes (CNTs). In one embodiment, a cable comprises a conductive core comprising a metalized strand of CNTs.
Cable
A cable is composed of a cable core including one or more electric wires, a shield layer covering around the cable core, and a sheath covering around the shield layer. The shield layer includes a braided shield braided in such a manner that first metal wires composed of aluminum or an aluminum alloy intersect with second metal wires composed of copper or a copper alloy. An outer diameter of each of the second metal wires is larger than an outer diameter of each of the first metal wires.
Composite cable
The present disclosure relates to a composite cable, which comprises a first wire assembly and a second wire assembly, and each wire of the second wire assembly is surrounded by an insulating layer. The composite cable further comprises: a sheath made of insulating material and configured to enclose the first wire assembly and the second wire assembly; and a shield comprising different kinds of metal wires and configured to surround the first wire assembly, wherein the first wire assembly is capable of transmitting signals, and the second wire assembly is capable of transmitting power supply. The composite cable according to the present disclosure is excellent in shielding performance for different requirements.
Shielded communication cable
A communication cable that has a reduced diameter while ensuring a required magnitude of characteristic impedance. The shielded communication cable contains a twisted pair containing a pair of insulated wires twisted with each other. Each of the insulated wire contains a conductor that has a tensile strength of 400 MPa or higher, and an insulation coating that covers the conductor. The shielded communication cable 1 further contains a shield that is made of a conductive material and surrounds the twisted pair. The shielded communication cable has a characteristic impedance of 10010.
SHIELDED CABLE
A shielded cable includes an inner conductor, an insulation covering an outer periphery of the inner conductor, and an outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the insulation. The outer conductor includes a first outer conductor covering the outer periphery of the insulation and including a served shield with first element wires spirally wound, and a second outer conductor covering an outer periphery of the first outer conductor and including a braided shield with second element wires braided.
COMPOSITE CABLE
A composite cable which makes it possible to improve disconnection resistance of a signal line. The composite cable includes a signal line part, a pair of power supply lines, and a sheath. The signal line part is composed of a first signal line and a second signal line twisted together. Each of the first signal line and the second signal line is composed of a pair of wires twisted together. The sheath covers an outer circumference of a wire bundle composed of the signal line part and a pair of power supply lines, the signal line part and the pair of power supply lines being twisted together. The signal line part is covered with a shield conductor formed of a braid composed of a plurality of conductive element wires braided together.
SHIELDING LAYER AND A CABLE PROVIDES WITH THE SHIELDING LAYER
A cable includes a plurality of wires, an wrapping tape covering the outside of the wires, a shielding layer coated on the outside of the wrapping tape and an insulating cover coated on the outside of the shielding layer, the shielding layer includes a plurality of conductors, wherein the shielding layer includes fibers mixed with the conductors.
Electrical cable
An electrical cable includes a first conductor assembly having a first inner conductor and a first insulator engaging and surrounding a surface of the first inner conductor and a second conductor assembly having a second inner conductor and a second insulator engaging and surrounding a surface of the second inner conductor. The electrical cable includes a non-conductive buffer layer surrounding the conductor assemblies having an inner surface engaging the insulators and a conductive shield layer engaging and surrounding an outer surface of the non-conductive buffer layer and providing electrical shielding for the conductor assemblies. An outer jacket engages and surrounds the conductive shield layer.
Cable with braided shield
A cable with braided shield includes a conductor, an insulation layer arranged to cover a periphery of the conductor, a braided shield layer arranged to cover a periphery of the insulation layer, and a sheath arranged to cover a periphery of the braided shield layer. The braided shield layer includes an inner braided shield layer, and an outer braided shield layer provided on a periphery of the inner braided shield layer. The inner braided shield layer includes a braided shield braided to cross metal wires. The outer braided shield layer includes a braided shield braided to cross a copper tinsel wire and a metal wire.
Electrical shielding material composed of metallized stainless steel monofilament yarn
A yarn or multi-fiber formed of a plurality of micron diameter stainless steel monofilaments which have been rendered more conductive by one or more coatings of electrolytically-deposited metal or metal alloy materials. The metallized yarn provided by the invention has a very low electrical resistance, with consequent benefit in electrical performance, and is particularly useful as an RFI/EMI shielding material.
