CABLE AND METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME

A cable that has a cable core with a first armor wire layer and a second armor wire layer. The second armor wire layer is segregated from the first armor wire layer, and an outer jacket is disposed about the second armor wire layer.

Cable

A cable that has a cable core with a first armor wire layer and a second armor wire layer. The second armor wire layer is segregated from the first armor wire layer, and an outer jacket is disposed about the second armor wire layer.

Noise reduction cable

A noise reduction cable includes an insulated wire including an insulator and a wire conductor, an outer circumference of which is coated with the insulator, a magnetic-material layer including a magnetic-material-containing member wound around an outer circumference of the insulated wire, a shield layer with which an outer circumference of the magnetic-material layer is coated, a magnetic-material-fixing-and-insulating tape layer that is disposed between the magnetic-material layer and the shield layer. The magnetic-material-fixing-and-insulating tape layer fixes the magnetic-material layer and insulates the magnetic-material layer and the shield layer from each other.

A telecommunication cable (100) including a plurality of twisted pairs (102) stranded helically around a cable axis, at least two tapes (104, 106) helically wrapped around the plurality of twisted pairs (102) such that that the at least two tapes (104, 106) overlap over the plurality of twisted pair (102), and a sheath (114) encapsulating the at least two tapes (104, 106) wrapped around the plurality of twisted pair (102). In particular, a ratio of first lay length of a first specific twisted pair to second lay length of a second specific twisted pair is in the range of 0.8 to 1.2. Furthermore, a ratio of first lay length of a first specific twisted pair to second lay length of a second specific twisted pair is in the range of 0.5 to 1.5.
