Inflatable packaging device
Packaging is provided that inflates within the interior and exterior of a desired article, such as a pair of shoes. The pack is sized to the article's height, width, depth and in the case of shoes, has two distinct inserts that fit inside each one of a pair of shoes. When the package is inflated, both the interior and exterior of the shoes are cushioned and supported for shipment and storage. This invention allows the user to deflate the packaging, fold it to a reduced size, and either store the packaging or mail it back to the manufacturer to be repurposed for a continued life cycle.

Shaped inflatable shoe insert
An inflatable shoe insert assembly may have an elongated lower element formed of opposing, flexible, polymeric plies that are sealed together to define a tubular inflation chamber that is narrow and elongated and is configured to seal inflation fluid therein; a shoe-upper element formed of opposing, flexible, polymeric plies that are sealed together to define a shoe-upper inflation chamber configured to seal inflation fluid therein; wherein lower and upper inflation chambers are configured and dimensioned to fit together into a shoe and support each other in an installed position to cooperatively support and maintain the shape of the shoe upper.

METHOD FOR THE CUSTOMIZATION OF A FOOTWEAR
A method and kit are provided for the customization of footwear comprising an upper which is partially or totally made of thermoformable material. The method provides for selectively heating the portions made of thermoformable material of the footwear, while leaving the remaining portions of the footwear at a substantially unchanged temperature, and for applying to the thermoformable material portions a pressure sufficient to adapt their shape to the specific morphology of the user's foot. This allows to customize even footwear comprising delicate portions, which would be damaged if subjected to high temperatures. The method may provide for customizing a footbed, partially or totally made of thermoformable material, to the specific morphology of the user's foot sole. The kit is compact, preferably transportable and capable of autonomously carrying out all the steps of the method.

Shoe insert
A shoe insert (1) for insertion into a shoe, comprising a first end (2) having a dome-shaped part (3) to be received in a toe portion of a shoe and an opposite second end (4) having a curved shell-shaped part (5) configured to act as a shoe horn, wherein the shoe insert (1) further comprises a connecting part (6) connecting the first end and the second end (2, 4), wherein the first end (2), the second end (4) and the connecting part (6) arranged there between are integrally formed.
METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING SHOE COMPONENTS
A method for assembling shoe components includes the steps of: providing at least two shoe components, a shoe last and a film unit; placing the at least two shoe components on an outer surface of the shoe last; removably covering an assembly of the at least two shoe components and the shoe last with the film unit such that the film unit and the shoe last cooperatively define a confining space therebetween; and pumping air out of the confining space and heating the at least two shoe components to shrink and deform the film unit so as to press the at least two shoe components to adhere tightly to each other.
Shoe insert
The present invention relates to a shoe insert that is inflatable or otherwise conformable to the interior of a shoe and provides protection against the shoe collapsing or otherwise becoming deformed during transport, shipment or handling. The shoe insert is capable of being inflated in a left or right orientation and can be provided with branding and other merchandising information.
