Shielded cable assembly
A shielded cable assembly capable of transmitting signals at speeds of 3.5 Gigabits per second (Gb/s) or higher without modulation or encoding over a single pair of conductors. The cable has a characteristic impedance of 95 Ohms and can support transmission data according to either USB 3.0 or HDMI 1.4 performance specifications. The wire cable includes a pair of conductors, a shield surrounding the conductors, and a dielectric structure configured to maintain a first predetermined spacing between the conductors and a second predetermined spacing between said conductors and said shield. The shield includes an inner shield conductor enclosing the dielectric structure and an outer shield conductor enclosing the inner shield conductor.
Shielded flat cable
A shielded flat cable 1 includes one or more ground wires G1, the ground wires G1 being arrayed parallel to each other, one or more signal wires S1 and S2 arrayed parallel to the one or more ground wires G1, insulating layers 11 and 12 covering the one or more ground wires G1 and the signal wires S1 and S2, and shield layers 21 and 22 provided on outer surfaces of the insulating layers 11 and 12. In a cross-section of the one or more ground wires, the insulating layers 11 and 12 include openings 13 and 14 of which bottoms are respectively an upper surface and a lower surface of one ground wire G1, and the one ground wire G1 and the shield layers 21 and 22 are electrically coupled at the openings 13 and 14, and the signal wires S1 and S2 are surrounded by the one or more ground wires G1 and the shield layers 21 and 22.
FLAT CABLE ASSEMBLY
The application discloses a flat cable assembly, which includes a plurality of cables and an insulating film. The cables are arranged in a row and have a center line. The plurality of cables respectively have a first connecting portion and a second connecting portion symmetrically disposed with the first connecting portion, a signal wire and a grounding wire. The first connection portion is located on one side of the center line, and the second connection portion is located on the other side of the center line. The insulating film is provided on the first connection portion and the second connection portion of any one of the plurality cables. The two sides of the insulating film do not protrude outward from the two outermost cables, and the two surfaces of the insulating film in the direction perpendicular to the center line are planes.
High-speed cable drain wire system
A high-speed cable drain wire system includes a cable shield housing conductor(s), an insulator subsystem that surrounds the conductor(s), and drain wire subsystem(s) that each have at least one drain wire strand, and with each drain wire strand including a plurality of drain wires. The plurality of drain wires in each drain wire strand may be positioned in a side-by-side orientation or a twisted orientation, and when the at least one drain wire strand included a the plurality of drain wire strands, the plurality of drain wire strands in each drain wire subsystem may be positioned in a braided orientation or a twisted orientation. In response to routing the cable, a bend may be produced in the drain wire subsystem(s), and the plurality of drain wires in each drain wire strand are configured to experience a stress that is less than a stress threshold in response to the bend.
Electrical cable
An electrical cable includes a conductor assembly having a first conductor, a second conductor and an insulator surrounding the first conductor and the second conductor. The insulator has an outer surface and extends along a longitudinal axis for a length of the electrical cable. The conductor assembly has a coating layer on the outer surface of the insulator being conductive defining an inner electrical shield of the electrical cable. A cable shield is wrapped around the conductor assembly and has an inner edge and an outer edge. The outer edge is wrapped over the inner edge to form a flap covering the inner edge and extending along the longitudinal axis. The cable shield engages the inner electrical shield and forms an outer electrical shield exterior of the inner electrical shield.

A cable includes: a pair of core wires; a first shielding layer covering the pair of core wires; a second shielding layer covering the first shielding layer, and an outer insulating layer covering the second shielding layer; wherein the first shielding layer is a pure metal tape, and the cable is not provided with a separate ground wire.

A cable includes a pair of core wires, a shielding layer covering the pair of core wires, and an outer insulating layer covering the shielding layer, wherein each of the pair of core wires includes an inner conductor and an insulating layer spirally wound around the inner conductor, the insulating layer includes at least two layers, and winding directions of adjacent insulating layers are different.
Cable and a combined cable
A cable includes a pair of wires each having a conductor and a wire insulation layer wrapped around the conductor, an inner insulation layer wrapped around the wire insulation layer of each of the wires and fixing the wires, a metal shielding layer wrapped around an outer surface of the inner insulation layer, and an outer insulation layer wrapped around an outer surface of the metal shielding layer. The metal shielding layer has an insulating substrate and a metal conductive layer coated on the insulating substrate. The metal conductive layer of the metal shielding layer faces the outer insulation layer.
HIGH DENSITY SHIELDED ELECTRICAL CABLE AND OTHER SHIELDED CABLES, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS
A shielded electrical ribbon cable includes adjacent first and second longitudinal conductor sets where each conductor set includes two or more insulated conductors. The first conductor set also includes a ground conductor that generally lies in the plane of the insulated conductors of the first conductor set. At least 90% of the periphery of each conductor set is encompassed by a shielding film. First and second non-conductive polymeric films are disposed on opposite sides of the cable and form cover portions substantially surrounding each conductor set, and pinched portions on each side of each conductor set. When the cable is laid flat, the distance between the center of the ground conductor of the first conductor set and the center of the nearest insulated conductor of the second conductor set is σ1, the center-to-center spacing of the insulated conductors of the second conductor set is σ2, and σ1/σ2 is greater than 0.7.
